Lewis on AFL360
Thanks Feebs! When the theory that Lewis and Vince cannot play in the same side was put to Jordan on 360 last week he played a fairly straight bat and then ended by saying something along the lines of 'this isn't the problem....there's other/bigger stuff going on....'. I hope this is probed further and elaborated on by Jordan now following the weekend's performance, somehow I doubt this will be the case. 360 on Tuesdays is the Jack and Richmond show and what Jordan said was completely glossed over. So I'm awaiting the upload with interest

Tyson for Murphy and a pick was the strong mail around the place this arvo- Petracca in a rut?
Been getting a game based on reputation. Last night BT and Hamish kept saying he loves the big stage and was 'made for Friday night footy' - and this morning many of the commentators seem to have woken up to the fact that he's been taking the p155 for months now.- Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
What's Tyson got to do with this? We get that he's off the pace but he's not like-for-like with Lewis, Vince or even Hunt, who really stunk it up in the AFL side earlier this season by the way- Petracca in a rut?
Needs to stop drinking his own bathwater and going back for seconds- Petracca in a rut?
Spot on Jaded. Tyson was probably undroppable a year or two ago and like it or not he was recalled after shredding it to bits back at Casey. Now let's not get bogged down in the whole Tyson thing, but the narrative from Goodwin around selfless, respectful, team oriented etc. etc. seems to contradict the Match Committee's unwillingness or inability to send these selection messages to big names- Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
Bartlet is on MMM Hot Breakfast right now discussing the proposed Yarra Park training complex and also the Pert appointment- New CEO - Gary Pert
A close friend of mine knows Pert through being in the CFC coterie and personally before that. Some of the stories about that period at the filth are interesting to say the least. I'd like to think that he now feels like h has a point to prove and has learned from errors in the past. I did not see this coming. The mail doing the rounds is that PJ was shut out of the process, to the extent that he'd sought to background some scribes around town of the discontent amongst some with how the process was unfolding. That could prove to be apocryphal. In any case, I'm willing to back in Bartlet's judgement until proven otherwise- The Jack Viney Made Me Cry Thread

Ah yes! Welcome back to this thread. I've been looking for ward to this time of year to roll around for a while now, although after Froome's result last night I'm not sure what to think anymore... Now with all the one day classics done, it's time for the big GC's and we're in for a good couple of month's I think!- Tom McDonald sent for Scans (24/5)
Judging by this thread we’re messing with ourselves too- Tom McDonald sent for Scans (24/5)
TMac is ok, and will play, as is pretty much confirmed by his inclusion in the final side tonight. TMac and medical staff were being precautionary which is understandable on both their parts given TMac’s previous foot issues. The issue identified this week is not a major one, and the area in concern is different to the one that caused him to miss earlier this year. All are just keen to get him through to the bye round for a rest and reassessment to be done then. Sauce is good. And yes boots can be and often are modified to suit specific requirements. It’s the same thing as tennis racquets, for example, you can go to Rebel sport and buy a racquet that looks exactly like the one Federer uses, however as a professional tennis player, he has his own racquets weighted, tensioned etc. to his liking – same principle with footy boots.- Dom Tyson
Tradebait at the end of the year? Maybe. But at this point of the year I simply ask this question - if not Tyson, then who else? Who's spot in our best 22 could it be reasonably said that Tyson is taking up right at this point? - The Need for Outside Midfielders
