Saints will have the benefit of an easier draw next year owing to a finish in the bottom six. Unlikely to play many (if any) top eight sides twice

Caroline Wilson banned from Demon function
I must admit that I was a little bemused as to why these two articles appeared on MFC website just an hour from Prelim game time on Saturday afternoon. It now makes perfect sense that MFC had got wind of Caro's article and sought to reinforce that Bartlett is "1000 per cent Melbourne". I mean why else would two articles be published seeking to reinforce the Red and Blue credentials of the Chairman...surely that goes without saying!? They clearly feel a need to reinforce this to members at the moment, especially as Caro's article makes clear as to how Bartlett came to be installed at MFC - a process I'll wager not too many MFC members would have been aware of until now... http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-09-22/bartlett-bleeds-red-and-blue http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-09-22/bartlett-pays-tribute-to-bluey-truscott

Ended on a high @joeboy , one of your best. Agree with everything already said re: Weid. Only amendment I would make: Weid - potential now evident- Caroline Wilson banned from Demon function
Well said, LH. Complete shocker from a media management point of view. For an article which barely rated a mention over the weekend, it is now front and centre in a spat with, like it or not, one of the preeminent media and issues commentators in our game. Looks like Caro is going to take aim at an individual more than the club itself, likely Bartlett. But regardless, you've got to wonder who made this call and what they were thinking!- Caroline Wilson banned from Demon function

Thanks for your service Bernard! Was an elite run-with player for a good while there, and will leave a massive hole in terms of culture, driving standards and a cool head when many around him are losing theres. He's going to be on Front Bar this Friday - reckon it will be tuning in for that- Brownlow Medal 2018

I've gone from seemingly one of the few Tyson defenders on DL, to now convinced it's time to offload him elsewhere while we can still get some reasonable value. Especially after yesterday's performance on top of the last month or so. The alternative is that he get's around McCartney to change his game over the pre-season (ala Harmes) or he languishes in the Casey twilight zone- My 3 word player analysis V West Coast
Not always one to go in for the three word analysis thread, but I can't really fault today's one, Joeboy. It is a three word analysis of today's game vs. West Coast remember - not the season in totality- My 3 word player analysis V West Coast
