What to do with Petracca?
Anyone else watching Jones on the Oval Office? FYI guys "we need to temper our expectations" when it comes to Petracca.

Welcome Back to the Bottom of the Ladder
FFS I just saw that the boy Jones is coming up on The Oval Office on Ch.9. Last week it was Brayshaw on media street and now Jones. I shouldn't watch..........but I will.

King: Don't Panic About the Dees
I guess those who are citing the off season surgeries as the main reason for being being 0-2 are making the assumption that if we opted (assuming it was even optional) against surgeries we would be 2-0. I'm not convinced that would be the case. We need to make the judgement come July-August....if we're still watching that is

Changes v Essendon
It's straight up delusional to think that Petracca is getting dropped. Not saying that I agree with him getting a game at the moment, but it's just the reality of where we're at

Oskar Baker
I know he had some soft tissue issues late last year, but I was surprised that he didn't play JLT

Changes v Essendon
That old chestnut. Didn't see the game but listened to the whole thing in the car. Sounded like he got a fair bit of the footy. I guess it all came down what he did with it once he got it...

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
We all do mate. This is one of the last, and most critical, pieces in the puzzle to becoming an elite high-performing operation. I look at what Cricket Victoria have done with Junction Oval - and I know that there's always politics and timing that get in the way of these things - but wow, what a missed opportunity that was! Even the bloody Saints are now getting their act together back in Moorabbin!

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
The impression I got from GB's B&F speech was that they were close to securing an alternative site, not in Yarra Park. This isn't based on anything just what I read between the lines in the speech

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I think Jesse's foot is a lot worse than has been speculated thus far. He was out of contract at the end of 2019 and would've needed to negotiate a new deal and/or entertain offers from rival clubs, potentially at a time where the full extent of his navicular injury has come to light. There is definitely an element of Jesse making hay while the sun is still up for him in the sense that he can satisfy all the other off field elements he was after, whilst absorbing a bit of a haircut to his $ and years. This is not THE reason but A reason for this trade for mine

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
He just did a live cross for The Trade Table on Ch.9 - must admit that I was pleasantly surprised with his attitude towards the trade. Seems like he feels the need to prove himself all over again which is healthy. He's a massive wrap on Goody - sounds like a sit down with him is what convinced him to come to the MFC
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Lloyd has absolutely no idea. Not a single thing he has gone with as 'fact' has eventuated so far this trade period
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
I'd back Mahoney in

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The purple headed warrior is reporting that Fagan is in Perth personally attempting to seal the Neale deal. Could still be more to play out yet

Farewell Jesse Hogan

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Bravo DA!

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Hoges as a defender? Pert's feet are barely under the desk and match committee is already leaking
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Jesse is back in Perth now. Interesting to see what, if anything, develops over the next couple of days
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
Regardless of mail Fremantle and Peter 'tinker' Bell seem to be butchering everything they put their minds to so far this trade period. The potential Neale trade looks like it could fall through this week

Farewell Dom Tyson
From what I've seen/heard you couldn't get a better bloke to be around a footy club and it looked like he'd built some good relationships with seemingly everyone at the MFC. Sad he couldn't crack the 100 club game mark after coming to us when we had barely any redeeming features except a coach who showed some faith and went after Dom. He definitely helped to bring our inside midfield game up to AFL standard in the early Roos years from the basket case it was prior to that. Found himself on the outer a bit this year, both figuratively and literally, and struggled to break back in despite playing 17 games. Battled manfully through injury setbacks and interrupted pre-seasons and I hope he can find a clean slate at NMFC and reach the potential he showed for us back in 2014-15. Go well Domma.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
Would be interested to now if we're carrying any of Dom's fairly sizeable salary or if that was a sticking point - anyone care to shed any light? ala us still carrying part of JW's salary for two years... This trade seemed to false start a couple of times and wondering if salary/years was at the heart of it
