  1. Perhaps. People get excited by hopium. He couldn't have done what you say too often because he rarely gets the footy.
  2. Take it easy, Cyclone. 2023 AFL DRAFT PROFILE STRENGTHS: + Aerial ability + Contested marking + Conversion + Strength IMPROVEMENTS: - Production - Speed A hulking key forward with notable senior experience, Luker Kentfield is a prospect who has flown under the radar. Along with potential first-rounder Koltyn Tholstrup, he turned out in Subiaco's League side this year for 10 games and earned a call-up to the state Under 18 side for three appearances. At 194cm, he rotated between the ruck and forward line and was able to be a mainstay against mature bodies due to his readymade frame. While doing so at AFL level will be tougher against taller and more athletic opponents, the 18-year-old held his own in the WAFL's top flight. Kentfield is a strong marker and pure striker of the ball, albeit if opportunities are far from frequent. He averaged just six disposals, three marks and less than a goal per game this year, with his standout senior effort yielding four of his overall eight goals for the season from eight touches and four marks. DRAFT RANGE: Rookie
  3. I wouldn't get too excited yet about Kentfield. He's a very good contested mark, but he hasn't shown he has the athletic requirements yet to cut it at AFL level. He was also a very low production guy even in juniors. Now, he may progress to become a star, but I'll certainly temper my expectations based on his output to date.
  4. I also see a vanilla medium tall left-footer.
  5. Mate, I'm more interested in you than Nairn.
  6. I find the propeller-head that everyone is responding to kind of entertaining.
  7. Still cut. Great.
  8. It seems your feelings are hurt. All over a haircut. You'll survive. As for your comment ? Recruiters have been following these drat hopefuls for years. There will be the occasional Oliver or Robey., but in the main recruiters won't change their pecking order much from July until the end of August. Feel free to jump at shadows.
  9. Actually, he is what he is.
  10. Absolutely. I have zero issue with baldness. What I find amusing is a bloke of his age doing the ghastly shaved sides thing, which has nothing to do with any receding hairline. If you felt compelled to reply, perhaps have a clue as to what you're replying to. The word "haircut" is the actual give away. Such a precious generation.
  11. I don't think anyone who earns a living in front of the camera necessarily has a great eye for talent. It's maybe why they're in the media. But maybe not. Can you link me to any deep player analysis that Twomey's done on draft hopefuls ? You know, strengths, weaknesses, etc. ? In depth stuff ? I wouldn't have thought that's his forte, but maybe I've missed it. He'll be pleased to know though that he has so many devotees. And look, maybe he's got a great eye for talent and I'm just being cynical that his form guide changes to the probable draft order the closer the draft gets.
  12. No-one's intel is as good as the bloke with the bad haircut. No-one. I thought I made that clear. What am I missing here ? Hello ? Anyone there ?
  13. Get's what right ? The first round ? Of course, he has great intel. His Phantom Form Guides change as his intel changes. The Coates League starts end of March. It finishes at the end of August. The reason ''form guides'' change between then and November isn't because of ''form''. But look, if you think he has a great eye for talent, fantastic.
  14. He turns 20 late December.
  15. It's his business is to know the draft pool. That's how he earns a living. You're welcome to put your faith in his actual footy acumen. Over the last decade, his Phantom Form Guides shift all over the place between July and November, as his intel tells him closer to the draft who's going where. Please yourself if you think he's a draft guru.
  16. I think it's too early to put a ceiling on a 19 year old.
  17. It's not as simple as that. Many clubs may have had him as a top 10 pick, but either didn't have a top 10 pick OR had a early top 10 pick and preferred someone else OR rated him top 10 but only had one pick in the top 10. Throughout the year he was often picked in the late part of the top 10. Why do you think Twomey had him there ? He also injured his ankle in the Coates League GF. And in that game he was caught and looked a bit slow, which I don't think helped him. But all Twomey did and does is read the tea leaves from the intel he gets.
  18. Reid was always considered a top 10 pick. He drifted late in preceedings. You don't follow drafts, do you ?
  19. Twomey doesn't have a strong eye for junior talent. He has a strong ear for intel regarding junior talent. He also doesn't have a strong eye for a decent haircut.
  20. Don't say that. You'll offend people.
  21. Just not well.
  22. Emma Quayle. She started working for an AFL club. I don't get concerned about ''paying overs'', but I'm aware they get picks wrong.
  23. Chicken or the egg. The ball drop is an issue.
  24. We have different eye sight.
