I do think that Umpires are influenced by the crowd and their own observers when officiating matches. Umpiring is a tough gig and I would hate to be one but when supporters boo decisions (at all grounds) that are actually correct it does not help their cause. And some rules (stand, 50m pen, hands in the back) are simply ridiculous and should be amended to make the umpires job easier.
