Id change the idea to this: Ok, so the way I'm interpreting all this is: I reckon the Hanley to Gold Coast trade will play a part, and Pick 44 (currently Gold Coast) will find it's way to Brisbane. We then trade Dunn, 2017 1st Round Pick & Pick 29 to Brisbane Rockliff, Pick 19 & 44 then come back to Melbourne Melbourne then trade Pick 29 to Essendon Hibberd & Pick 41 to Melbourne Melbourne then trade one of Picks 41, 44 or 48 to Hawthorn for Lewis Alternatively if we could trade Pick 44 & a player (Vanders/Nibbler) to Essendon for Hibberd that would be ideal. We could then trade 48 for Lewis and take 19 to the draft!

This trade period is a ripper "season" of it.

I broke a story here about McCarthy coming to Dees as development coach. About half of people believed me. Fair story to put together if not true.

Hearing plenty of people in last few hours convinced he is leaving. We want him. I'm more than confident he will be a Dee.

So our aim now could now be Lewis this years 3rd. Hibberd next years 2nd Go to draft with pick 29 or whatever it is now.

TBH I would give this and next years second rounder for Lewis and Hibberd. I want instant improvement around our young team.

I asked the guy who broke the rumor if it's true, yes or no. He just liked the post. Positive.

I'd rather free up the list of spots. We don't need to be playing players that simply arn't going to be part of the main 22. I'd rather give a shot to a Hunt type. We all saw the benifits of giving the youngsters a go this season like Oscar, Hunt etc Nothing to be gained otherwise except cover for a few games.

We took the punt and drafted him. We played him. Made him captain. Rehabilitated him. Payed him his wages. I wouldn't say we owe him much. Just rate him like any other player.

What do we owe him? Maybe the question can also be asked what does he owe us? Maybe we only want to move on a certain number of players this year to go harder at next years so called better draft crop.

I love it but wish it was just ours.

I'd take Fyfe for Hogan. About time we has a super-star mid. More immediate and consyant impact for next few years. Hogan will always have issues over his head even if he re-signs.

Hogan will sign this off-season after returning from Perth and this whole saga will be over I believe.
