WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JORDAN LEWIS

Yep, I'm inclined to think so too. Because by the same logic, Brad Hill shouldn't be there. -

Haha, I literally just saw that photo this morning (pre-photoshop). The big hole to the left of Gibson, Lewis is meant to be there. -
Well I find that difficult to believe. But I hope you're right!
-
The only way I can justify that deal is that they're speculating we will finish bottom 5 next year. Although with the likes of Rockliff and Lewis, that raises more questions than it answers. Perhaps Rockliff is really THAT bad of a bloke. Who knows.
-
They could easily get better currency elsewhere. Mind-boggling if true (although that won't preclude me from being a very happy man).
-
Why would Brisbane do either deal? Sounds far-fetched to me.

I still can't get my head around the fact that he chose us. Not the other way around. Absolutely bewildering. -
Wait, did someone say Jordan Lewis might be going to Melbourne?! My mind can't even comprehend that.
-
Wow, looks like the umpires want Bulldogs to win as well.

I don't doubt anything he says. Mainly because he says nothing new. -
Yep, it's done now. Off to bed.

Oh look, another break after 1 round. Seriously, get on with it!
-
This would be much more enjoyable without the constant breaks and distractions.

Just as they're grouping up into the 3 quarter time huddle. -

If you have afl live, it's at the end of the third quarter against Port. -
Can you access the TV? It's on channel 7.

Bigfooty: '' Apparently Jesse was at the Wa amateurs grand final with a few Freo players . Don't know who the Freo players were but a mate said it was apparently mentioned on abc radio in Wa who covered the game.'' -
Bloody hell, I wish I didn't hate every other team in the afl. Finals would be so much more enjoyable.

Yep, unfortunately all we have now is our opinions (that applies to both sides of the debate). For the time being, it's best to concede that we simply don't know. Peacefully agnostic because it's out of our control. -
Scott Thompson - Would we welcome him back?

How bout Mathew Boyd from the doggies? Probably AA this year or close to it. Hasn't been offered a contract yet. -
[censored] yes!!!!

I hate Sicily. For that reason, goes the pies!!!!

I'm worried they confuse his juvenile behaviour as a sign of competitiveness. And thus it's somehow acceptable, provided it's kept in moderation.

Jesse will be a quality player. The question remains though: is he committed to the Melbourne football club? I see no reason to think that the presumption should be that Jesse is happy to stay in Melbourne. And that anyone who disagrees bears some large burden of proof, otherwise they have ''rocks in their head.'' To say that suggests either that you're presuming that he wants to stay in Melbourne, or that you think Melbourne should keep him regardless of his intentions to go back to WA (because he's a good footballer). Which one is it? If it's the former, why do you think that?
