I think the overwhelming feeling here is for the kid himself. His health issues and bad luck has been well documented. Most feel that he deserved a break and when he finally was getting some continuity (even allowing for a facial fracture) this happens 2 mins into the game that then was immediately stopped for 30 mins. You have to admit that must be tough for him to accept. Yes, there is the team impact and frustration that another player has gone down (it is a supporter forum after all) but I'm reading more concern for the person than selection.

I have fingers crossed for Luker so Batmania can become Melbourne again. One for the history buffs 😉

My point was a back up for Max was selected. Luker Kentfield. It was probably a close call with Luker chosen as better option as a Fwd/Ruck as opposed to Heath as a Ruck/Fwd. A logical call in my view. I fully expect Heath to be picked R.1 , despite not impressing the 2nd half today.

Club got back to me saying it's likely to be most home games, but couldn't be specific. In past years it was only 5 or 6 possibles. Away games for Kings Birthday and Anzac eve as well as less success has increased options this year it seems. That said, I still don't definitively know.

I'm a MFC/MCC member. Part of that package includes a MCC Guest Pass for 3 games from a nominated list of games. Nowhere can I find what games are options. The MFC website says (dated September '25) that they will advise once the fixture has been released! I am awaiting a response from the club, but is any MFC/MCC member aware?

Both the AFL and MFC websites still have Richmond as our opponents on 27th Feb.
