CASEY: Rd 14 vs Gold Coast
Out for 4-6 weeks with an ankle. Still wasn't the worst today

Tairon Ah-Mu - No access for Dees NGA Talent
The fact that he is, but shouldn't be, is exactly the reason we shouldn't lock this thread. Rolling over and accepting this AFL sh*t is what will keep us irrelevant in their eyes. I'm sick of it, and we should never accept being a door mat like we were with Mac Andrew. Grow some b*lls MFC!

Don't forget the Tony Popovic connection! So many similarities there poita. It's hard to find other Palace supporters in Aus. So glad to find someone who understands why. I surprised myself how emotional I got watching them win it, knowing their history. Standing alone, in the dark, tears on my cheeks, in front of the TV at 3am, will live with me forever. Nothing will top watching the Dees in '21, but it runs a clear second. A true grass roots club, so involved in the local community with their youth programs rather than the $$$$ driven top clubs, fills me with pride with what they have achieved. So glad they got revenge from their defeat against Man U at the G in 2022 that I attended. 😆 Defeating Liverpool on the w/e would have topped a perfect year, but it still exceeded all expectations. ❤️💙🦅

Baldi has nominated for the mid season AFL draft. He may be a chance to be picked up by another club.

Yep, Dick Telford, David Dickson, Bob Heard, Ray Shaw etc etc. A true golden era.

CASEY: Rd 09 vs Northern Bullants
As a teenager, I went to every Preston game in the 60's and 70's as my father was an assistant coach. They were such a strong club. It is actually sad to see what they've bcome.

As impressive as Exactly! We need to temper our excitement. The Bullants are winless with a % of 41

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Optimism is better than pessimism, and that certainly is a glass half full assessment, Binman. Our last quarter last week has been our only good last quarter for the year. Lowly Richmond kicked the last 4 goals of the match againgst us, we kicked 1 goal. West Coast had their best quarter of the year, at that time, against us in the last. Only highly unusual accurate kicking (6.0) saved us being outscored by the bottom side. And the Hawks last quarter of 6.5 to our 1.1 WAS as bad as it looked. Last week was definitely an exception on the year so far. As was Fritch's competiveness and tackling in his cameo as sub. Was it the result of 'loading' by Brisbane and just a one-off by Bailey? I'm hopeful last week was the unveiling of MFC25 v.2 and it becomes the norm rather than a mirage. A strong 4 quarter performance againgst the Swans will go a long way towards having belief, rather than hope.

Thanks Macca. It's incredible to think that getting 1 more point from the remaining 2 games will see Palace have their best Premier League finish ever. Until Sunday morning, I clutched at these results. Playing Europa will be surreal and hopefully will get Palace to be a more attractive proposition for the best players and they can become a regular top half club in the years to come. It's results at the highest level that earn overall respect. Who other than Western Bulldogs supporters know that Footscray won 9 VFA flags before their first VFL flag in '54. Palace play Wolves tomorrow at 5am and will do our best to beat then so the Hammers can climb above them. 😉 Always had a soft spot for West Ham so here's hoping. Another 5am start for the Europa next day. 🫰for Ange. Final game for us Monday morning against Liverpool, my brother and eldest sons team. 🤮. Let's hope it's another good week for the red and the blue.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney

Unfortunately, it's not. 99% of suicides receive no publicity, the majority not being concussion related. We lose around 10 people per day in Australia. It's probabably more, as many can't be classified as such with certainty. 3 in 4 are males. The only positive when a well known former footballer takes his life, is that it brings a taboo subect out in the open for thought and discussion. This increases the chance of saving others. I have no doubt, this is Danny Frawleys legacy. It's tragic, it's heartbraking, it's indescribable, but the story of the Selwood twins may well help us prevent the suicide of others. I hold this belief logically, but also emotionally, as a way of dealing with the loss of friends I've known.- We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season

Fantastic result! Have followed Crystal Palace since the Dees announced a reciprocal membership deal back in the 80's. I'm sure that deal is long gone, but it started a life long love of Palace for me. The FA Cup is the first silverware in their entire history! (Founded 1861). Was able to watch live on Optus Sport and have no chance of sleeping now. Hope I can stay awake to watch the Dees vs Lions. ❤️💙🦅👹- We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season

Maybe so, but It's how it was pronounced in the broadcast is my point. 🙂- PODCAST: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Once again, thanks for the podcast fellas. But please, after 4 years, can you pronounce Jacob van Rooyen's name the way he (and not the footy broadcasters) pronounce it. It's pronounced van roy en. Also, Andy, it's Gerard Whateley, not Wheatly.- PODCAST: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
