I may have been too critical of Jones in his first 4 or so years but since then he has steadily improved his efficiency by foot under pressure and I hope that Viney can do the same, it is his biggest weakness by far. Jones has improved from 5/10 to about 7/10 in my view.

Imagine if he had recruited well. I remember he picked a couple of Victorian boys together who weren't so highly rated in hopes that they would want to stay which might have been just a rumour.

I am on a rant now. He isn't a KPF at all, he plays as a 3rd tall that is good on the lead. He can take contested marks one on one sometimes but I honestly can't remember the last time he took an actual pack mark. The deficiencies in our teams are irrelevant, if you are good enough you will affect the game in a positive way. He has had ONE good year and maybe 2 ok years. What the heck is going on. This is all conjecture but god damn it is the most disappointing thing by far for me that he hasn't been selected for the past two preseason games because of "poor training standards". I will be the first to praise him if he plays round one and dominates believe me.

I was thinking about this recently and I compared him to Colin Sylvia in my mind. That's not what he is though, he has a lot more ability than him and I feel like that is clear. I have been a huge defender of Watts for his whole career (including giving a saints supporter a spray for bad mouthing him last year) and last year should be his lowest standard at best. I know and everyone else knows he can do at least that well and to be honest I think he can do so much better. I always hear my friends call him soft. I don't think he is physically that soft but mentally maybe he is.

I don't see much of Pendelbury in Brayshaw at all to be honest. I think he is going to be a great player but I can't see the similarities at all

I don't really understand why people are attacking ProDee for this, he had the exact same thoughts as a lot of people I'm sure. As they say where there is smoke there is fire. As a big defender of Jack it is pretty disappointing to hear that he hasn't reached the goals set in the preseason and that is unacceptable for this stage in his career. Jack has an extreme amount of talent and I hope he reaches the heights that I think he is capable of. People asking for the club to release which goals he didn't set are insane, what would they gain by doing that? By releasing that it would put even more unfair pressure on Jack. I hope he is in the team by round 1 but if he isn't picked you have to just trust the new coach.

It would be nice to know what he exactly blew on the alco meter, not to say that it's right that he was over 0.00 while on his P plates but honestly if he was only 0.02 or so I wouldn't be as upset.

They need to shorten it by half an hour bare minimum, the amount of ads is ridiculous. Instead of doing a highlights of every round they should just do it for 2 rounds at a time and I think it would almost be watchable then.

I don't think Neeld was much of a coach but I think Roos put it succinctly when he said on the couch that it isn't all about the coach, it's about the people around the whole club. There's a reason that he brought over all the assistant coaches that he knew.
