  1. Hoping that umpire 22 is not on the roster tonight
  2. MFCSS has kicked in after the Cats and Dogs defeats!
  3. It is certainly worth considering anything that can potentially benefit MFC. Therefore it is important to acknowledge the thought but will agree that Tex would be a difficult fit for our group.
  4. I think that that a tassie team would need to grow out of Tassie. I'm sure that there was a Tassie Mariners at one stage. Maybe TAC cup? These guys would then grow into the state team. Of course they would need to play in the VFL,/SANFL and would then push for an AFL licence. GC had all the picks and already had a base that supports other AFL clubs. Tassie are AFL to the core. I'm not sure it would be every boys dream to play for a Tasmanian team, but then again the GWS and GC players didn't get a choice. Perhaps the lifestyle factor/family may be an advantage for a Tassie team?
  5. I have a feeling that BBB is going to kick 15 goals in the next 3 weeks. I think it is about to come together for us
  6. I think that it is unlikely that they will debut Bowey this year. Has not played a lot of footy and it's his first year playing among men. It it does happen that would be great. I do like what he is showing at VFL level. I can see Spargo providing that other outlet at HBF in the Daniel mould. Salem has been finding it difficult since his injury. Spargo is smart and we need composure and the ability to hit a target out of our defence. Preferably Lingers on the wing. He already has the defensive pressure. I'm not sure who needs a rest back there but the consensus on here is that it's Hibberd. I would bring Melksham back in at HF to replace Spargo and play Viney(def pressure) and Petracca forward for more minutes. Brayshaw back to wing, Jordan in the middle (defensive pressure). Jackson could need a break and I would bring Weideman in to do his role and have TMAC stay at HF and BBB lead to one pocket and Fritta to the other.
  7. I like your thoughts here and I would like to add Spargo as a distributor at HB to help Salem. He provides that link to FF 50. Melksham to replace him at HF More likely to have Spargo do the role the Bowey will eventually grow into as he is hardened.
  8. So the answer is? Increase tackle pressure all over the ground but particularly midfield and forward. Accuracy in goal kicking Break even or close to in stoppages/centre bounces. Refresh the team? No. 32, and others
  9. Same as GWS Game. Out worked and intense pressure applied
  10. That game reminded me of our game against Brisbane a few years ago. The least worst team won and Pedo had his nose rearranged by sauce Merrett
  11. I'm chewbacca!
  12. The men with 2 first names!
  13. Not a great deal. I would give him a licence to roam within endurance
  14. At one stage a guy was flipping the bird at the boundary umpire who was simply throwing the ball back in!
  15. I am thinking that we have reached an agreement with GCS to split the loss in the NT. We allow them to meet their commitment and we get half? I can't see any reason to agree to it otherwise
  16. Declasse is 40
  17. It could be worse. We could have no.1 for Werribee upforward for us!
  18. Very very hard to watch. Werribee can't buy a goal. About 5 missed chances at this end for the quarter. I have finally seen the score board sitting on the ground!
  19. Perhaps a fletcher type project!
  20. Definitely not bruise free footy today
  21. Bowey looking very composed with ball delivery
  22. Not helping Weid with delivery, although he is not looking dynamic. Looks low on confidence
  23. Chandler goal
  24. Grey goal
