I think a better comparison for BB's potential influence in the forward line would be looking back at the Hawks game. There was a good synergy between BB and TMAC and Maxy dominated the air on the wing and back. We kicked goals but the pressure wasn't there for the first 3 quarters. I would be hoping for that to be replicated in the future.

The pressure and the system returned last night. Great game by our lads. BBB was very good in allowing others to do their thing, particularly TMAC and Kossie. Really noticed how BBB was spiking the ball at our smalls when providing a contest. He didn't look to out mark in a massive pack. Nice deft tap by Dogga in the middle too to send us forward.

Unfortunately I went to the QB in Sydney and to the G today. It was essentially the same game. No intensity. No pressure. We are a poor kicking side. We were out played. Our midfield pressure was absent. Our defence cannot play one on one and the target is usually hit at 45m from goal. It wouldn't have mattered today who the FF was, there was no time and space and our skills are poor. We need to send a message that there are spots available for those who want to give their all. Not just pick and choose. Great game Salo

Hi Binman. This maybe be stupid, but does weid have a vision problem? He has spent years playing and training but his marking seems to be always "off". Could he also be blinking/closing his eyes when attempting to mark the ball?

We got it right that quarter. Increased pressure, improved defence and the marking target kicked to a player in better position. Lots of kicks at goal from both sides have dropped short tonight.
