The AFL website says it's 3.... but wouldn't surprise me if they just didn't bother to update it

It would be nice if the AFL/club provided greater clarity on these matters. Even if we can't move AMW we could still take one of Mentha or Andrew as a Cat A rookie. I also believe we can have 3 Cat B rookies, which I assume means we would have to have 5 Cat A rookies.....

His highlights look good… as always. Keen to get him as a Cat B rookie along with Mentha. Would be a great result for our academy and they would be two exciting players to watch develop at Casey.

I definitely don’t think speed is the be all. Windsor, McVee, Rivers, Langdon, Chandler, Kozzy and Sharp all have decent wheels to varying degrees, so I think we will have enough foot speed in the side. I still hope we get Travaglia with pick 9 though, but all for Langford at 5

Mid season draft is based on midsession position…. So hopefully we will be last. But correct re the rookie draft

Then there may be clubs that pass in the 60s as well.

Judd, JVR, Windsor, Jeffo, Turner, Bowey, Tholstrup, Rivers, Pickett, pick 5, pick 9. So there’s no future there? That list also doesn’t include some players who are slightly older in Petty, Sparrow and Chandler.

Im pitching playing for the club your dad played for and who you have barracked for your entire life. I’m also pitching games like Queens bday and Anzac eve as opposed to the packed out Suns games….

I hope they trial him as a forward/ruck this year as well... could really boost his draft stocks if he can dominate in that role.

I'm personally fairly confident. Zeke Uwland is meant to be a top 10 pick, so it will be very difficult for them to match multiple bids. Whoever Kalani's manager is will know this.

If he doesn't make it as a midfielder, do you think he could make it as a lock down small defender?

I may be wrong, but I thought that because we overlooked Andrew last year we can’t add him as a Cat B rookie this year. In any case, I think we can upgrade AMW to the Cat A list if required.

It's the first session after 2 and a half months off.... wouldn't be worried about skills too much at this point
