  1. He both dislocated and fractured his wrist I read.
  2. I lick my lips for about 4 years down the line. Viney, Brayshaw, Tyson, Salem, Petracca, Stretch, Hogan, JKH, Toumpas, Jetta, Frost, Kent. Then you have TMac, Watts, Trengove, etc all about the 28 yr old bracket. Tasty times.
  3. You can't say that we are missing Petracca when; A) He hasn't played a game B) We don't know how good he will be For all we know, Brayshaw could be the better of the 2, until he plays we won't know.
  4. That game yesterday was high intensity, high pressure and hard running. I would say any kid coming up into the big league would have also been a deer in the headlights. Make no mistake, yesterday was a hard match for all involved.
  5. You're not the only one, we have been winning alot more clearances with Gawn, Vince and Jones.
  6. 6. Vince 5. Cross 4. NJones 3. Toumpas 2. Hogan 1. Watts
  7. I never understood why people called for Michie, he has shown why now. I didn't think Riley was too bad though, could've been better obviously. I'd put Howe back, seems to have a bit more of an impact there even though he impacted the scoreboard yesterday. JKH to come in and buzz around the forward line. MJones to come in, he will never be that footballer we want/need, but you know what you get from him and will run. I feel Toumpas would be better on the attacking side of the ball at HF. I see some good things in Stretch and believe he needs more game time so to start as sub, he is quick so will hvae an impact when he comes on. In: Fitzy, Dawes, MJones, JKH Out: Riley, Pedersen, Michie, ANB FB: Fitzpatrick, Dunn, Jetta HB: Grimes, McDonald, Howe C: Lumumba, Jones, Cross HF: Brayshaw, Hogan, Watts FF: Garlett, Dawes, Toumpas Foll: Gawn, Viney, Vince Int: Tyson, JKH, MJones S: Stretch
  8. Toumpas still did some things that [censored] me. He is so frustrating at times.
  9. ^^^This
  10. If only the spud Cloke turned up that day. He would've missed that one directly in front, no questions.
  11. That mark that Watts had dropped wasn't an easy grab. He was at full stretch with someone right on his hammer. I just remembered that lovely choice and kick from Brayshaw into the 50 and the grab above Pendles head. Was a perfect decision.
  12. I thought it was Cross that was on Sidebum?
  13. Tom Hickey/Billy Longer as the resting ruck would be my pick.
  14. 6 Vince 5 NJones 4 Brayshaw 3 Cross 2 Viney 1 Howe
  15. Simply put, I think we are on track. We are only one win away from equaling last years wins and it isn't even halfway through the season yet. It will get better from here.
  16. Haha, I was just about to highlight that same piece.
  17. This is Collingwoods line up from last week. Using what players they played on last week this is how I would see it. These are the match ups I would run with. Yes, I'd give a couple of guys another go even with their form, I just think this is our best team on paper with everyone doing what they are supposed to. Effectively; In: Tyson, Newton Out: Bail, MJones 8 Tom Langdon/Watts 16 Nathan J. Brown/Hogan 26 Marley Williams/Garlett 34 Alan Toovey/Howe 45 Jack Frost/Pedersen 6 Tyson Goldsack/Newton 43 Adam Oxley/vandenBerg 36 Dane Swan/Cross(Tagged) 40 Paul Seedsman/Jones 5 Jamie Elliott/Garland 9 Jesse White/Dunn 22 Steele Sidebottom/Lumumba(Taking resting mid) 15 Jarrod Witts/Fitzpatrick(Taking resting ruck) 32 Travis Cloke/McDonald 11 Jarryd Blair/Jetta Followers 4 Brodie Grundy/Spencer 25 Jack Crisp/Tyson 10 Scott Pendlebury/Vince(Tagged) Interchange 1 Alex Fasolo/Grimes 13 Taylor Adams/Brayshaw 18 Travis Varcoe/Viney Subs 35 Jordan De Goey/Toumpas
  18. I'd like to see TMac take Cloke, Dunn should be more than enough for White, I'd put McDonald on Elliot, Jetta on Blair and Fitzy on the resting ruck.
  19. Let's hope he doesn't play on after the siren...
  20. I think it was Roos decision to tag Polec running off half back as he was a huge part in their playmaking last year. He hasn't been able to find that form this year yet. Going off topic now though. Nice Fitzy, nice. There we are, back on track.
  21. I enjoyed the win for Fitzy and as a whole, don't worry about that mate!
  22. This forum amuses me sometimes. Everyone loses their [censored] after being handed by a flogging from Hawthorn, come next week, its all good and everyone is on a high. The same with this thread, Fitzy has played one decent game (except for the Eagles game last year where he had a few nice snaps at goal). I admit, he had a ripper of a game on Sunday and I hope he does move forward and build on that for his sake and ours. But to think he is going to explode into this 200cm monster is a bit over exaggerating in my eyes. We all know where he has been in the past and what his skills were/are. But it is going to be very difficult for him to remain in the 22. If he keeps that form up I am all for him to stay in the 22, but we all know that as soon as that form he had falls away, he will be out of the team. But I will finish with that I thoroughly enjoyed watching him on Sunday and I do hope he does produce more of the same.
