Forgive my lack of awareness but what are the rules for players? Zero contact with any of the public aside from other players and coaches?

Last night was a big let down for sure. 5 goals a piece from two of the best teams. No exciting goals, no big marks, no bursting through the middle of the field on a counter, no run down tackles. it was like a game of under 10’s. following the ball around and no space. hopefully some coaches come up with a plan to bring back the focus on attack over defence

folks complaining about the fwd line selection, is there someone waiting in the wings you would have selected?? we are clearly low on tall forwards. I personally think with the below fwd line we can score sufficiently Bennell T Mac Melksham Kozzi Jackson Fritsch Add in Petracca, Jones and Hunt. I reckon that is pretty dynamic and hard to match up on. all can mark strongly. Jackson debut so we cant expect much. Before Milkshake got injured he was looking great and T Mac kicked 6 I think and then got injured. Have faith!!

An injection of youth will hopefully have the desired effect. After trading away early picks over the past few years it is great to have some first year quality players coming into the side. Can't wait for Saturday arvo!!

Nice and short injury list although its unfortunate there are three talls on there. a couple more talls go down and we'll be stretched

Back up Ruck, De Koning injured today, will miss round 2. Kruezer injured as usual Gawny licking his lips (and clarry) Pittonet the only other ruck on their senior list from what I can tell

No way it will have the same status as other seasons. By mid June, it will be good if we get can through 10+ games and a couple of finals. We won't know how it will be judged until afterwards but it feels more like an experiment than a season at the moment. I'd settle for some entertainment and a few wins

Have to say I have some level of excitement at this news. my life is so dull at the moment, I'd tune in to watch them train! even if they are fairly meaningless games, I'll be tuning in for some entertainment

Surely you realise we are in a state of emergency until 11th May so it is not possible they get the green light in april. might as well just pick any random date for round 2. it means little

More arrogance from the AFL. What's the point in announcing a return date? The AFL do not control if the season commences. Maybe wait until more than 2 people are allowed to exercise together? which might be 4 weeks or longer
