Injury List - Season 2019
Pretty common for kids to get injuries adjusting to afl. Danger, Cotchin etc all had slow starts

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DECLAN KEILTY
There is something special about a debut. Some players just fit in at the top level and there is a chance Dec has a great game and will have a career. Bloody exciting. And Drunkn being open lets us in so we feel like we know him already! Go Dec, smash it!!

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Keilty still listed as Emg on MFC website and twitter but nothing surprising there, hardly great on the breaking news anyone have a source? would be pumped for Dec to have a chance

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
This game and next week are our only chance of wins before the bye (god that is depressing - dreading QB) best case 3-9 at the bye. wow 7 winable games after the bye but season gone so who cares

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
6.0 coming up! hopefully he is still scarred from the final against us last year, running into an open goal and hitting the post.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Ben Brown is a flopper. Constantly plays for freekicks and I have no interest in ever seeing him in the red and blue. Anyway, we need agile Tall fwds who can play up the ground and connect our fwd attacks

Our winning % at the MCG before the Bye round
you said we don't win much and I was just correcting you. as we won a lot over the past year I think it's interesting to look at winning % per location
-
Jon Patton
I think we all now realise you a hawks fan. Dont let the door hit you on the way out
-
Jack Viney and the medical staff...
Calm down mate. Every club does it. Like Riewoldt against us. He came back on and now is out for 8. Impossible to diagnose some issues so if you’re sore you get back out there. It’s footy

Our winning % at the MCG before the Bye round
We won 16 last year. Topic worth discussing imo

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
does he have all the gifts? he is not quick, does not have a burst from packs, limited agility, poor kick for goal on the run and set shot. scored only 62 goals from 69 games while playing mostly fwd. 12 possession limited impact games such as anzac eve occur regularly to me he looks like he should be a gun but hasn't shown it. having said that he is just 23 so he could get better

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Gee you have to feel for McCartin. can't take a trick. Don't think Trac will ever be a great player but he will hopefully get more consistent and be a good half fwd for us. Gus will be have a great career

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
decent kid. Brand and Stratton also have injury clouds. was a tough game yesterday and they have a 6 day break so that might help - god knows we need all the help we can get! I'm just looking forward to Booing $cully, been a while!
-
Won't someone think of the children? (seriously)
It is character building. You really want your kid to be like a Hawthorn supporter who is 16 full of arrogance and never experienced hard times?
-
Viney to miss a couple of weeks.
Will Viney ever play a full season??! [censored] ME!!
-
Round 6 Non MFC games
North a role model for what? being [censored]? it's about giving a new coach time and the supporters backing their coach. I assume most on here in Collingwoods situation would have sacked Buckley in year 4 or 5. no finals for 4 years after taking on a young premiership side! if clubs are mature enough, they are patient and will later reap the benefits.
-
Round 6 Non MFC games
Agree. And it took him 6 years to learn how to coach /manage well. I wonder how long it will take Goody and if the club and supporters will stick with him

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Cheers Ernie. You sound a bit like Andy Dufresne if you mind me sayin

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Just play Man on Man FFS. our "gameplan" does not work. at least man on man will give us a chance and I won't be screaming as Frost etc run off their man constantly Footy isn't that hard is it??? we win it in the middle and can't do jack [censored] else?
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
I always think we are a chance on game day. what the actual [censored] is wrong with me?!? we got pantsed by St kilda and the bombers. will be 8 goals to 1 at QT. But still...... we are a chance!

Tim Smith - Virtual Player?
28 yo Bull from FernTree Gully - don't mess with him. He'll be told to throw his weight around. I wonder if Weed will be 2nd ruck and Smiddy sticks to the fiddy?

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
what is this run and spread you speak of? surely it is better for us all to run towards and the ball and try to get it?? uh oh, they got out the back again. re-start - let's try again!
