  1. Source re Hogan is the Goodwin presser. article on the MFC website There is open training session on Sat at 9:30 at Goschs
  2. With a picture of Drillbit Talyor?
  3. anyone else picturing Viney staring a photo of Taylor Adams with gritted teeth? Adams went the return serve with Bernie, tossbag
  4. interesting stat but not having a ruck has still hurt us massively imo. We should have beaten North and Hawks, loosing hit outs was a major part of this. Quality of clearances is not captured in stats but I am sure from watching the games that we did not cause as much damage as usual with these clearances. Winning some taps also means you can set up to win and play on your terms rather then the other teams terms. there is also the impact of not having a big man to kick to from kick out and down the line. Grundy would smash us
  5. Massive game. The pies defence is poor especially without Reid. If we break even in the middle then we should get on top. Will Trac love the big stage?? I reckon he might
  6. Still two training sessions to go before Monday. If hogan trains fully he plays. Good of the club to take the pressure off him.
  7. Whiskas? Would look at Rohan and Reid if fit for sure.
  8. we'd only play Spencer if we are absolutely desperate. lucky for him we are! so he is in even if not match fit. Just run into that fat head Grundy all day Speno. Oli and Jack will do the rest Im excited to see how our young guys look after a week's rest. I'm expecting big things from Oliver, Petracca and Hunt. I know Oliver was still getting heaps of it but he looked tired in the last few weeks, imagine him after a rest!
  9. I don't get the concern about our 'bad MCG form'. I dont believe you can have bad form at a ground while having better form at other grounds during the same period. We just played badly at home a few times. what are we now, etihad specialists? no excuses Dees, get it done
  10. and we lost to 2 out of 3 of these average sides. emotional big game, whoever goes in harder for longer will win imo
  11. You'd think greenwood and Goldsack with knocks should be fine to play. Wells looks no chance and we'll wait to see on Elliot. Pies playing pretty well at the moment so will be a tough game. Grundy will carve us up without a ruckman
  12. Hey M_9! im a fellow stander... either M8 or M9 at most games, I'll have to wear a demonland name tag next game and say G'day! are you the dude that always brings the 'coffee' thermos?
  13. Been drinkin so nothing concrete, but I'd like to see Weaters smashing one from 65m on the run and surely Flash in his early days kicked a beauty?
  14. Paraphrasing: good drugs, clinical depression on Tuesday then training on Thursday
  15. Happy to see Toumpas play a decent game. Hope he keeps his spot
  16. Agree imagine what HE would write if a footballer had tweeted that. Head of football writing. F-ing joke. Surprised Caro hasn't kicked off yet
  17. I'm taking the mrs out for a few drinks this weekend! Booked the babysitter in She asked where did this come from?? hasnt figured out its the bye round yet :-)
  18. What a horrible comment he made. And his apology was almost worse. If you have no idea about a subject either ask some questions or STFU.
  19. I feel deeply for anyone with depression. Having the guts to admit you've got it is the first very tough step all the best Alex
  20. HOGES IS BACK IN THE BUILDING great to have him back.
  21. He is 7th favourite for the Brownlow behind the Bont and Selwood dead set freak
  22. I honestly think its because Oliver is no longer seen as a new young talent. he is in Brownlow consideration! I would say he is too obvious to bring up on the show
  23. Love your enthusiasm ManDee! wish I shared it. Injuries are part of the game, look at GWS, 11 first 22 players out. we have averaged around 3-4 first 22 players out this season. just a pity that Gawn and Hogan are among them Our form and consistency will have to turn around dramatically if we are to make finals but with Melksham/Hibberd/Lewis settling in and the young guys getting experience it could happen.
  24. Can't believe half of us think we will make finals. We are 5-5 off the easy part of our draw and we need to go at least 7-5 for the much harder part with tiring young bodies. Gawn and hogan will make a difference but not that much to turn our form and inconsistency around imo
