Only 1 best 22 player missing through injury at round 11 is great going  

referring to Salem.  H should be back at casey next weekend hopefully

sets us up to have a real crack at the second half of the season and allow all our young players to play multiple games together and gel.  

And getting Angus back will be awesome, a real beef-injection if you will

two things:

• they are around 3 years more advanced than us - they are not a 'young team' anymore
• they will have massive salary cap issues and stars will have to leave

by the time we are really pushing for a flag - 3 years from now hopefully they are starting to feel the cap pressure and having some culture problems. we need to keep bringing young talent in rather than doing a 'North' and getting mature top up players and hopefully we will have our own dynasty from 2019-2025

ps. if i see scully win a flag i will literally spew. id prefer to see Hawks win another one rather than this bunch of fkwits

we are in an awkward position with Garlett as he was dropped for certain reasons and hasnt really performed.  but he is the type of player that will not play great in the 2's IMO.  Roosey will lose some face if he picks him si I expect to wait until he has a high tackle game

Really excited to play the swans away (haven't said that for over 10 years Im sure).  no one will give us a chance and I reckon we'll get stuck into them.  we will have 1 or 2 surprising wins yet this year (and surprising losses) so its nice to look forward to all games - even though we'll probably lose.

Buddy is going to have a Big Mac Sandwich on sunday. one in front, one behind and frost jumping on his head!  (sorry I'll stop now)

You only need to look at Adelaide and WC to see we will not play finals this year.  WC have a easy run coming up.

Our 'final' will be when we play adelaide at home in round 13.  win that and we are an outside chance,

I'm glad we finally have some standards and have dropped Garlett.  Previously we would not have and everyone would lament his inconsistency and say we should have sent him a message.  well here it is, Jeff - lift your intensity and work rate or you'll be in the twos.

amazing how things have changed so quickly as the above was being discussed this time last year and now if the vfl teams were playing each other this weekend they would be matched up!

if he is 50-50 - for Viney that is pretty much 100%. unless the docs pull him, he wont pull out due to pain

If true, says a lot about his honesty, you could imagine many players saying they were ready just to get a game.

Interesting but hard to believe anyone would turn down the chance to make their debut if the coach thinks he is ready. Go for it Weeds!
