The Bummers have the best run home of all teams.
If we are hanging around 7th or 8th position by then they could leap frog us.
Ill be sick if the drug cheats make the finals.
I reckon the saints will account for them on friday so they have to win 5 out of 6 to get 12 wins after that. very soft run but hopefully they slip up. they lost to brisbane FFS

we play the 3 worst sides in the league and we need 3 wins to make the 8 so unless something catastrophic happens, we will at least limp in to the 8. I predict 4 wins. if we were playing the saints at the moment, they would roll us as they are in form so I'm glad its not for a few weeks.
Round 17 looms as a preview of our Prelim
Round 18 preview of our elimination final
and round 20 - preview of the GF. where Viney rams scullys head into the turf at the first bounce and we win by 10 goals!
**** started off ok in this post and now I've got carried away!!

A fine only!
at least membry got 2 weeks, that should hurt the saints

great stuff from Lewis. taking the pi$$ out of the media and the 'experts'. and his words about Jetta are awesome too!
"I don’t want to pump up his tyres too much, but I reckon he’s the most underrated backline player in the competition – he’s extraordinary"

Another victim of "did one really awful thing syndrome" I think (turnover when we were in control of the ball going forward).
one awful thing? Milkshake was poor, 6 clangers but only 3 contested possessions, 50% efficiency. he does try hard in his defence but his decision making is terrible
I'd certainly drop him for Tyson.
Pedo out for Watts reluctantly

how good is Jetta at not giving away free kicks but winning 1 on 1s? he pulls the players' hips back subtly, arm around the shoulder for a second and then slinks in front to spoil. an absolute natural
would be awesome if he could make it to 200 games.

how is this even an issue? a bit of back chat to a idiotic fan. the club will teach the kid not to bother and we move on
The media really have a hard-on for us at the moment and these "discipline issues" at the club. love how Goody is sticking up for Clayton and the club.
how about writing an article on the win and what it means FFS! very likely we play finals because of yesterday

Need a poo emoji for today. Gonna be a long lead up
blues have nothing to play for apart from pride and we have so much. And we will be fired up for hoges. We finally had a long break, so those factors should just get us over the line despite injuries.

I was reading their bigfooty forum and they were debating if they should boo Jesse or not.
I often have a look at other teams forums in the lead up and I have never seen this before.
What a joke. Hope he kicks 13.
they are debating whether of not to boo a bloke first game back after cancer?
says it all about Carlton supporters

Goodwin confirmed Trenners wont play at his presser just now
:-(

average of over 40K? unbelievable! well done MFC led by PJ. decent fixture money wise, friday night game finally and the anzac eve game was genius. QB gets bigger every year with ND on board. most important our team can now play afl footy
I remember a few years back while were getting one of many, many hammerings, waiting for the attendance to come up and hoping to see a 2 at the start of it!

Yep marchbank is a big out for them. Plowman undersized and weitering likes to be loose. Hogan and Gawn could grab a few marks inside 50

Casey report is on the MFC site. Reading between the lines (and reading the actual lines with words):
Kent seems a lock to come in
Maynard a chance
Trenners a chance
JKH/Kennedy less likely than we thought

kicked just shy of 100 goals between 2015 and 2016. just turned 23 and played 80-odd games so hasnt hit his peak yet. cant completely understand his head would not be in it going through a break up with 2 young kids. Footy would be the last thing on your mind.
would be a great get, can score goals out of nothing

Gawn to be skipper and be BOG. He'll knock/punch far and wide to avoid the inside at clearances and we'll account for the average Blues by 3 goals

Could this be Neal-Bullen's breakout game? Put him in his preferred position - inside mid
I'd back him

If Trenners and Hogan make their comebacks on Sunday - it will lift the team enough to get a win.
**And I might have something in my eye when JT gets his first touch
He is good enough, just do it. none of this extended bench BS either - in the 18.
