The gws line up is intimidating. Stars on every line. Two fwds out helps us but their midfield talent is by far the best in the league. They ran into some form in the last quarter last week. 

I can't see us winning. But there's always a chance in this crazy season

Anyone that think we have enough tall fwds at the moment is kidding themselves. Would love a player like brown. 

I ain't no expert but it seems like its not just the tall backs themselves but rather the set-up and zone.  how many times did we see Jetta on a 6 foot 6 bloke!   play the zone but the talls have to keep an eye on their man FCS

and that is why a smart key back like Lever would solve a lot of problems. the lack of footy IQ in our talls is an issue which is in part down to age/experience (hopefully)

Great to see Dion make some significant progress this year.  He is built for a young fella, and quick.  From reports it sounds like his effort and tackling is great and now he is starting to kick a goal or two.  We need a small pressure fwd so it will be great to see how he goes over the preseason

With Jones and Vince back, you'd think Maynard is little chance. 

How did Pedo go or did he not play?  selection will be interesting this week for sure

and not one free kick, what can you say? that chopping the arms is text book and would have been seen by all umpires and everyone in the crowd. but as everyone says, the umps didnt lose us the game, we did

all we needed to do is break even in the middle and pound it fwd. in the last 10 mins we barely went fwd.

i assume we lost badly in both categories. Bloody soft effort in the last quarter. Their midfield won it for them!

I thought it might be interesting to see how the proposed 17-5 might work in practice as we have all played 17 games. 

If it happened this year MFC would instantly have no chance at top 4 missing out on the top 6 division on percentage. We'd have to battle for a finals spot

sydney and port would be in finals regardless despite being the same points as us

the pies and freo lose there very unlikely mathematical chance of making the finals and have a chance to get the number 1 draft pick which they wouldn't deserve. 

Clearly im not a fan and I'm making a lot of assumptions. Anyone else disagree/agree?
