  1. we have struggled winning the "easy" games since Roosy came (there were no easy games before he came!) im usually just as confident going in against a good team than a poor one. Saying we should win those 12 games doesn't carry much weight. especially with an even comp
  2. the other simple fact is that any Team wins more often when playing at home. So by selling the games to NT, we are tangibly hurting our chances of on-field success. and depriving us loyal fans of being able to see the team play 2 games per year live
  3. that better not be the correct fixture. Dons have another dream run! and we get shafted again figured we would play the Cats twice and we need our annual trip the freeway not much has changed really. wait for the one friday night game for us and 5 for essendon
  4. So the drug cheats get rewarded with a friday night game. makes me sick, lets hope the crows belt them Surely Cats V Dees would have been ideal for Sat night at the G? and not two average sides who won't make finals (hawks v pies)? anyway - still cant wait for the game! thank god its at the G! Viney will tag Ablett and Selwood at the same time. Run Gary into the MCG turf and break Ducky Selwood's spirit like usual
  5. I still can't get used to seeing the words 'Melbourne' and 'Blockbuster' in the same sentence! things on the up
  6. Look at who has won the flag the last two years. Kicking skills not critical but need aggressive animals that roll the ball forward.
  7. couldn't disagree more mate. so not much point in arguing back Go Dees
  8. Everyone going on about Ports 3 players they brought in. They also lost: Trengove - solid backman Impy who I rate, speedy and is still young Ah chee who is young and some potenial Lobbe - decent ruck Austin and Young They have gone for flashy players over more reliable types - is the net gain of talent much? id argue no If Ryder goes down that will struggle big time
  9. i hear ya but I reckon its a bit harsh on the big fella. last 3 years he has averaged 16 games/season. and the missed games in 2015 was partly coz he was in vfl not due to injury i think he is in our top 5 players and certainly our top 5 most important. so happy to pay him as such
  10. Gawn is well within his rights to ask for a good deal, 3-4 years and high pay. He knows his body won't let him play 7 more years. if we try to shaft him with a poor deal he would leave (so would I) as this is likely the last deal of his career. I'm confident he can get his body right and play a big 3-4 years for us, his knees seem good just unlucky with that hammy
  11. A divorcee, an addicted gambler and a sexual deviant walk into a bar . Barman says: Jake, you drinking alone again tonight?
  12. I see Blues are giving next years 2nd round pick so if they are poor again that could be around 24 ish. and if crows are high could be eg, 16 --> 24 which isnt that bad
  13. 2 first rounders for Gibbs? fook me! at 29 not too many years left they have learnt a harsh lesson from last year, Gibbs could have been the difference for them this year
  14. "Supplement Park" come here for an artifical tan and to ruin your career!
  15. AOD-9604 Training Facility has a nice ring to it
  16. Cheating [censored] park
  17. thanks DIO! much appreciated. Nice mix of facts and subjective feedback. :-) I'll add it to the mix as I form an opinion over the coming years
  18. Pick 31 says more about Watts than MFC's ability to negiotiate. if there were more than one club seriously interested, they would have had to offer more than the other. So Watts is worth 31 in today's market when not much else is on offer and many teams are crying out for a tall fwd. I am very comfortable with the outcome and glad we can move on with 22 that will crack in every week (not saying Watts is soft, he is just not a competitive beast)
  19. Any truth to the rumour we are giving Port Pick 27 in exchange for pick 31?
  20. so the news was Garland might be retire?
  21. So just need a sanity check from you good folks. regarding the Transgender player who wants to play AFLW... I can't help but think that if you are biologically male, it is an unfair advantage to play against biological women. I don't think it should be allowed does anyone agree? am I a bigot who should broaden his mind? these days I'm scared to voice my opinion so it would be great to get some constructive feedback. cheers
  22. Who are we going to blame for choking when Watts leaves I wonder??
  23. no worries. yeah never 2 and player or 3 first rounders. or 2 really high picks? treloar was 7 and 9 but they got 25 back so depends how we go next year. Judd was 3 and Kennedy was it? but kennedy was an unknown morton was 88. hard to judge
  24. id probably take 4 out of those 10 years. so I guess we won the trade 60-40???
  25. I said the most ever. i.e. there has never been more given up for a player
