Max and Jack are the best leaders this club has had for decades. They compliment each other very well. Max covers off field to let Jack lead on field. Not saying they don’t do the other Just need more players to play with the same dedication and hunger that these two do

a star? i just said he might prosper/do well. The Saints have had a poor culture/environment for years imo. Even with their golden generation they couldn’t win even one flag. A more professional environment and less pressure of being pick 3 i reckon he could do well with his skills providing his body stands up and he put the work in

I’m excited about Billings. Gun junior who struggled in the poor environment of the Saints. I reckon he might prosper with no expectation and with our superior program. No doubt his skills are excellent. just needs the right environment

Brown will be on the injury list and playing the odd game for Casey. Petty is so injury prone we can’t rely on him to be tight regularly either. Hopefully Fullarton is good

To be honest we were lucky to survive this period without being relegated or dissolved as would happen in other sports. I am very happy to support a quality successful club now

Don’t think we can expect anything from Clarry this year. I think he has a lot to work through. If he plays 5 games i’d be surprised

No doubt in my mind we’ll be in the top 4-5 teams competing for the flag. The Clarry sitch is a major concern but we just need to see what happens there.( i have low expectations there). we need tall fwds to stand up and a consistent fwd line that the mids can get used to kicking to. We need to regain that hungry winning mentality in finals. we have good kids coming in which will help. there are no unbeatable teams out there so we are in the mix

Have a great Christmas all ive had a bad couple of months. The ticker is on the fritz, in a bad way, caught it just in time. i’m even off the booze for good. and my mum just got discharged from 6 weeks in hospital post cancer surgery. Bevo, Clarko, Hinkley etc all missed finals multiple times with premiership quality lists. two of which after winning flags its not as missing finals, it’s the 3-5 year outlook which still looks very good. there are 16 good teams in the league and it only take injuries bad form and bad luck to go on a bad run

Clarry clearly has some things to work on off field and whatever agreement he made with Goody a few weeks ago he would be sticking to. Goody knows more than most you cannot perform unless you are mentally fresh so if taking extra weeks away is recommended he should do that. i would doubt he’ll be at training next week

The Rookie list still exists?! how has not been scrapped yet. Just have the primary list with a cap. Having to put a 200 veteran on a rookie list for I assume very little salary is far from ideal
