People are often seduced by the number 1 draft pick. I’d much prefer 2 first rounders over the number 1 pick. Once one of the picks was within 7. the list of underperforming number 1 picks is long. Two picks increases the odds of grabbing at least one gun. i personally would not agree to the above trade

I know. But if it was a player that was a first 18 lock, he would have been brought in, eg, Salem. It was this decision that has lead to him wanting to leave imo. He has worked his [censored] off for years and in 2021 played a very good season only to not be selected. terrible luck getting injured late but he would still have been devastated. Can we really ask him to go hard again and again know that if we make a GF he is probably a 50-50 chance of playing?
