  1. agree. those picks will have more worth next year. even it is just pick 12-13 when people know how good the draft is, it will be worth more than now
  2. Consensus from random neutral nuffies on social media is that Melb won this trade easily
  3. more than half of those 18 were we sub and mostly unused sub at that He played maybe 2 AFL standard games in his career. has some potential but pick 44 is a good get for him
  4. relax guys that journalist just said a pick slide of 13 to 16 was floated early in the trade period. this is not a new development no way we are sending 13 to the Pies in any trade
  5. Players taken with pick 12/13 in recent years: Kozzi Pickett, Will Day, Butters, Quaynor can get good players
  6. So it could work out as Pick 13, 12 and 30 (next year) for Bedford and 44 and 67 Next years draft is meant to be excellent so 12 and 30 should be able to be packages to get into top 10 Not too bad, considering
  7. I don't know the trade details but I'm already really disappointed with the result
  8. Good luck to Weid. We have given him many opportunities and it hasn't worked out. I think him leaving is the best for both parties
  9. I reckon this is our year. We have made great changes in the off season to our game plan. Stinnear etc should be commended. We have real attacking strength now. new guns in the midfield, great run off HB and willingness to make mistakes taking the game on Adelaide and Lions are bloody good teams but I reckon we get it done for Daise
  10. I agree, in fact, I think his value is a greater than pick 3. but what are you gonna do? I guess they are offer 13 and to F1 to satisfy us a bit whilst also knowing we don't have much choice
  11. If we were in Freo's position, why would you offer more than 13 and F1. They have us over a barrel, we have little negotiation power
  12. Everyone enjoying Trade Sunday???
  13. Hopefully Yze has some new ideas for the midfield next year. It’s our strength but we don’t turn it into scoring chances enough imo. How are we not dominating clearances??
  14. [censored]. Some tool says something and we all lose our [censored]. 😂
  15. Is there still any chance of Whitfield being traded? I wonder if we would use one of the LJ picks to get him? not sure of his value in picks
  16. Hardly exciting but he is a genuine tall and kicked 48 goals 21 from 20 games last year certainly an upgrade on Tomlinson if his body is OK
  17. If we get pick 13, 13 (F1) and 20 (NthF2) its not a bad deal. package 2022 pick 13 and 20 (F2) for pick 7-8 ends up being 7 and 13 which is OK
  18. Depends if Bruce's body is done or not. kicked 48 goals before doing his ACL last year but looked terrible when he came back this year 30yo, could be worth a punt once we dont give up much
  19. Bet you they don’t get 40% off New balance runners though!
  20. I'm judging him on his output over the past 4 seasons. Has good skills but has not lived up to his hype or pick 3 billing imo. Not consistent, questionable mentality. I reckon Kozzi is far superior to him, so I guess he is worth pick 2?
  21. Pick 5 for Rankine? Has only shown glimpses. Overs imo
  22. Might head to the Cats. Crows will probably throw in pick 5 knowing the Cats’ luck
  23. Only 6 days of the trade period to go!! That means only 5 and 1/2 days until something happens!
  24. Why the heck are the Suns giving away pick 7! You don't see the Pies giving us their first pick along with Grundy Madness!
  25. my advice is to decide if they think Grundy was that good, sign him up, pay the money and see out the contract. If not, trade him. don't panic and sign him up on a 7mill deal and then decide he is not that good 2 years later. The Pies seem to think the number of years on a contract don't matter once the player stays for the next 1-2 years. and then they throw them under the bus 1/4 way through
