Smith kicked the ball. he could not have tackled?
-
no you punish the action not the result which is the way it should be. i realise this was not the way it has been in the past but i think it has changed. it was a late cheap and dangerous hit.
-
if the ball had of been in dispute Kozzi might have a chance of 1-2 weeks but it was a deliberate late hit. i reckon he is serious trouble 😫
-
initial impact was the chest but there is certainly secondary contact above shoulders. Smiths head goes flying back.
-
could be anywhere from 2-4 weeks. seems to be a divisive one in the media. and not great timing that the concussion lawsuits are happening. Kozzi could have easily flushed him and Smith would be in serious medical trouble. love his aggression but you can’t go flying into a blokes shoulder/neck/head after he kicks the ball.

bloody twilight games!

for some reason games with the dogs are usually momentum swingers. us being up by 34 in the second quarter will give me no comfort. on the other bring down i’ll back to us to come back
-
agree if dogs had Libba, Naughton, Daniel and Keath out it would be a different ball game
-
he had a definite Sam Newman moment in the second pic
-
Roger you just outed yourself as being T Mac
-
can’t pick this one. dogs are into 2.20 but i’m surprised it’s not more. we have the best midfield in the comp. our defence is just good without May and our fwd line is average until proven otherwise. this could be a shoot out as the dogs defence is poor. T Mac and Brown to kick 3-4 each wont be the end of the world if we lose. it’s a long season. i’d prefer to peak in Aug/Sept

Predicting Viney to intimidate them early and get 10 tackles. Fritsch should clean up with 5+ goals May will dominate their tall timber and Salem will use his composure and skill off HB Uh oh

1961 proved my point. didn’t look at the others 😬 31K at brunswick St oval?? [censored] me

which game were you watching? Melb would have run over the old Cats last night. they kicked ridiculously straight and that won’t happen often. Pies smashed them on all stats And a bit of respect for our premiership coach please. i guess some ‘supporters’ are never happy huh?
-
love the Swamp. nice 62 year record for the Cats. Enjoy Selwood n Co I assume all the Dees in the table would have been games where we were ahead by so much we didn’t need to score in the last Q 👍🏻
-
relax guys. it’s round 1 the Cats aren’t that bad and the Pies aren’t that good.

yep BS 50s and free kicks from nothing put geelong in control let the game play on FFS

OPPOSITION WATCH: What they're saying in Footscray
DubDee replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
bulldogs remind of a supercoach team. full up with 6-8 stars and then the rest of the team is NQRs and don’t worry about defence. we’ll be right -
can we just make sure Steven doesn’t hit the turps as he’s injured and it’s Paddy’s day. i’ve already been to the Drunken Poet and the Last Jar today. no sign of him. i’ll stay on my quest

Milkshake is the perfect sub. mid sized, can hit the scoreboard can mark, can play midfield if needed. and usually only plays one good quarter per game!
