Completely agree, I wasn’t saying spare Tom Morris, he couldn’t continue in his role after the audio was leaked. My point was, people should just reflect on comments they’ve made in the past before passing judgement.

Any male (also heard plenty of females talk similar smack) who gets on there holier than thou, virtue signalling soapbox is full of [censored]. You’ve all made similar comments, whether it was yesterday or decades ago.. it was dumb to record and distasteful and all of that stuff, but don’t pretend you’ve never made similar comments, you’re just lucky enough to not have a public profile and have had your private conversation recorded.

The only way I can see we would have gotten Cerra is if we traded Jackson for him. Ergo, I deduce that we did, in fact, put Jackson on the trade table and Jackson said no or Fremantle said no. So I think this means that Jackson will re-sign, but then maybe he won’t as he hasn’t yet.

After giving “the best presentation they’ve ever seen” (by Melbourne), Cerra was obviously keen (on coming to us). His agent stated he just couldn’t see how they’d get a deal done, “they’d (Fremantle) would probably want Jackson” (it was a quip). When Cerra’s agent asked Melbourne how they’d get the deal done, their response was “don’t worry about that”. It then ended there. Read what you’ve posted above, which I’ve highlighted in bold and italics. You’ve created a scenario in your head that didn’t happen, then posted it as almost being fact. You’re essentially catastrophizing, and it’s not the first time you’ve done this.

On a few occasions the player agent said that Melbourne gave the best presentation they’ve ever seen, amazing to hear. On Jackson, his name was only mentioned because Cerra was keen on Melbourne however his agent said Fremantle would probably want Jackson, and that’s not going to happen. It was Cerra’s agent who brought up Jackson by name, no one else. Let’s not look for something that isn’t there to create drama when it’s not required.

I hate everything to do with ‘cancel culture’ but fully support David King being cancelled after seeing this.
