I think we're looking way too much into it. The media names who have commented so far aren't known for their accuracy or reliability, they remind me of a Kyle Sandilands type 'shock jock.' King constantly throws wild predictions out there, in the hope he one day correctly guesses an outcome and can stand there with a smug 'I told you so' look on his face. Damien 'the story breaker' Barrett is no better, we all know just how terrible he is, double this with his apparent dislike of the MFC and you're going to get rubbish every time he hears a whisper of a rumour. There's way too many 'ifs' being thrown up, there's no way I'm going to slander Clark until we hear something official. I don't think it's worth getting so worked up about something that hasn't happened yet and is pretty much baseless.

Damo + Speculation. It doesn't get much better than that. My thoughts. IF Clark wanted to make a comeback and IF the MFC wanted him, Roo's and PJ would make it happen. If he plays next season and it's not for us, it may even be the doing of the MFC. Our list has been unstable and under achieving for so long. Clark COULD be too much of a risk to the plans PJ and Co have in place for the future of the MFC. Others may think he's worth the risk. I'm unsure.

I've heard some guy called Mitch Clark is club shopping at the moment, might be worth a look. Oh no you didn't..! I've heard Frost's name mentioned by a couple of different sources now, haven't seen much of him. Someone threw up Tex Walkers name recently, I believe he's got another year on his contract, couldn't see any reason why he'd leave, he's a required player at Adelaide and already on good money. I wouldn't mind Beams from Collingwood, apparently he's on Brisbane's radar.

When I moved here 12 years ago the first interaction I had with a Perth native was when he asked me if I was a "Holden or Ford man?" Pretty much sums Perth up, v8's, jet skis with superchargers and expensive coffee. I can't see Mitch moving back here for the lifestyle factor, it's not that great. If it was for family, he'd already be living here. I'll reserve judgement until a decision is made public.
