The AFLCA guidelines state clubs are ‘encouraged’ to notify all uncontracted coaches of their employment status for the following season by August 1. Apparently it’s more a rule of thumb and not an AFL rule.

I thought he was upset and ready to leave.

I got white girl drunk towards the end of the game and forgot what happened in the last ten minutes so I haven’t really felt too upset about the loss. I remember thinking we were the better team on the night, we just let ourselves down at crucial times.
