  1. the way he played against Adelaide in particular proves to me how damaging he can be. So for the moment he wont be tagged, but i'd say pretty soon teams will need to be. Who do you tag though Tyson, Jones, Vince or Viney? Vince can be seriously damaging
  2. Jaskch, Buntine, O'Rourke and Tomlinson are all mentioned. I would be interested in all of these
  3. i kind of agree. But his attack on the footy would definitely worry other teams. Viney will be tagged pretty soon, his attack is going to become devastating for other teams
  4. Salem and Tyson will both be guns. But i think we are going to have to wait a while for Salem. Dom is in actually his 3rd year, if Doms this good in his 3rd, ill be wrapped
  5. I'll take Justin Clarke, Sam Mayes would be nice and Zorko Yes, there are plenty of GWS youngsters that will want to be heading home or leave the club. They are a young, up and coming side with an abundance of young talent, that simply cannot be kept. I would not be surprised if Roos isnt already enticed to get some young guns from them
  6. Tyson and Jayden Hunt for Darcy Gardiner (who is at Brisbane due to an on trade) and a pass from GWS. Pretty happy if you ask me. Tyson and 53 for pick 22
  7. I honestly think it was Salem. He is exactly what we need/needed
  8. Patton in abit of a form slump. Hopefully he keeps it up abit so his stocks lower. I want him
  9. Howe- 5 minute performance. That is a joke. The whole night he took solid marks and spoils. Not to mention is handball to Matt Jones in the last quarter almost set up a match winning goal.
  10. His start to his career and current form is more consistent than Sylvia ever was. Let alone when Sylvia was 20, not even close to the same.
  11. I really would'nt drop Matt Jones. He has been very good this year in his second year. I was as angry as any Melbourne supporter with his misses and they were unacceptable in such a tight match. But he needs to be shown more faith from our supporters and coaches. Averaging 21/22 disposals.. a keep for me
  12. He was quiet last night in terms of finding the ball. But he tackled a fair bit and was seen in the middle of packs attacking the contest at times. This is a step forward
  13. In: Riley Out: for the love of god, please Byrnes
  14. Dom is a hero. The comparisons to Pendles are definitely justified. Silky left foot, creates time in packs and all class
  15. I have been reading from the beginning at some peoples comments post match. I too am shattered and i dont even know how to feel. I definitely dont feel angry at the way we played, but im definitely not stoked. I still love Dom Tyson
  16. I wouldnt have scoffed at you last year for chappy 3 years, because i didnt have a demonland account. But i will now. He is way way way too injury prone for a 3 year deal. He has already shown his injury troubles this year and the last thing we needed was an older player clogging our list due to injury. On the contrary im happy we got an ageing cross, because he is not injury prone.
  17. he's only in his second year and in an overall manner hes been good at VFL level. He may have had a quiet one today and one of the other weeks, but he has been showing a fair bit at VFL level. Bit harsh if you ask me
  18. If Dom hadnt of gotten injured, he would probably have comfortably been in their best 22. So his injury did in a roundabout way make him trade bait
  19. Here is my updated take on what we should do at the end of the year. We definitely have a few promising options If Frawley does leave (which would be via free agency), i would completely skip free agency. If we lose Frawley than this would compromise our compensation pick, which is not something i want. I would assume well get around a pick 5 for Frawley (depending on where we finish) and this is something we could either hold or trade. If Frawley doesnt leave than we should have a serious look at a few players. Free Agency players to look at: Matt Rosa Todd Goldstein David Mckay Shaun Higgins (but he is VERY injury prone) The trade table then becomes interesting, especially if we lose Frawley. If we lose Frawley i would certainly look to trade on of the top picks. Here are some players i feel we could entice or certainly make offers to, regardless if we fail or not. Luke Parker- He would bolster basically our midfield to being something feared. He is a player with grunt than Sylvia would only sometime display. Viney and Parker would be exceptional in the midfield together, both love the contested ball and are absolute bulls at the contest. Nathan Fyfe- This would be a bigger lure than Scully was to GWS. We would probably have to trade our top 2 picks and get there pick 15th on in return. It could be something that Fremantle would look at, considering there are a few good talls at the top end of this years draft. Jonathan Patton- Patton is in a similar boat to Fyfe, he would have to be offered a hell of a lot of money and GWS would need some serious picks in return. It is a no brainer what Patton would do to bolster our forward line. He is one of the most impressive young forwards in the game and in a few years will be a nightmare for defenders. Lets hope we can get him and he doesnt become a nightmare for Tom Mcdonald in future. Adam Tomlinson- He is a half forward who can also go back if needed. He is atheltic, good hands and can kick it a long way. I liked him in his first 2 years, he showed alot of promise. Unfortunately, like many of the GWS talented players, he has a hard time getting into the team full on talent and top draft picks. Would be great with Hogan, Dawes and JKH for future Jonathan O'Rourke- Another top draft pick from GWS struggling to get a game. He would be good and i do not think we would have to offer all that much to get him, obviously still something reasonably high. He could be a good midfield prospect. Zac Clarke- He is a player who doesnt get a big enough role because of Sandi. He would be good as a permanent ruck and would mean that our tall forwards wont need to ruck very much, if not ever. (i despise that when clubs put there forwards in the ruck) I think there are more players that could be worth a look, but that would take all day to analyse. The draft obviously has some really good promising forwards and i would be really keen to finish 2014 with 2 new tall forwards at the club. If we could get one from another club (already developed) and one from draft.
  20. Tyson is a better player than Shiel... Shiel has been struggling at AFL level, while he is promising, he is definitely struggling
  21. JKH to Pendlebury comparison is crazy. I like the look of JKH but i cant see any comparisons worthy of noting.
  22. This guy is the biggest [censored] i have ever seen, cannot stand him
