Sounds much like many books of the old testament. Or, like Bush and Trump about water-boarding. Or like the Usa intelligentia which dropped 2 atom bombs.
-
You forget, Iv'a, Biff only expects Muslims to abide by Conventions and Protocols.
-
More likely, the next terror attack will either be another war declared by the USA for yet another bogus reason e.g.weapons of mass destruction, Tonkin incident etc etc etc, or another Israeli attack on Gaza.

Schwartz. Tragedy.

Saw this today: THE man accused of orchestrating a deadly attack on a Quebec City mosque was a “right-wing troll” who took anti-foreigner positions and supported US President Donald Trump, This was the headline for New .com. Yet you blame Trudeau. You have a very strange mind, Mr Biffen, very strange indeed.

You're absolutely right about Dyson and Clark. Beveridge was a very average player. Like Clarkson. Interesting how average battlers can become great coaches: Hafey was another.

He came into Acland Cellars where I did some shifts in December 2005. He was as humble a guy you'd ever care to meet. He confirmed his German background, spoke about his Tassie days and said he was looking forward to 2006. He was upbeat but not all that confident. He was a great player to watch, always committed and keen to get the ball. His loyalty to Daniher was heart-warming as well.

Oversight. He was fantastic. In fact he nearly made the A team...
-
Agree entirely.Instead of who though?
-
Sorry, forgot about these mighty demon warriors. Had one wee drop too many at that stage.
-
Too Twoo as they say in the classics. Yet to play a game though.
-
Ex North Melbourne, 48 games. Demon '91-'92-26 games, Sydney '93, 17 games, a 91 game player. Played full back for the Demons, kicked 26 for North, 14 for Sydney. Handy player. Seemed to have his head screwed the right way, didn't get involved in bulldust stage fighting.

Oversight on 'Export' list, very close to best 24, maybe at expense of Yeates?
-
Also, I don't even know the words to Stolat...or any Polish for that matter. That doesn't stop my father-in-law talking to me in Polish.
-
All the cascading sibilants suggest this is Polish. Except for Ona, which is short for Onan who invented a sin named after him.

Hello Demonlanders At great expense to my marriage to a non-AFL Polish woman who is the love of my life I've been watching the archives of Demon games since the late 80's. We had some great times, some major flops and disappointments but, gee there were some great players. I'd like to field what I would deem the best team since 1990, the best 'Imported' team since then, the best 'Exported' team, and the best 'Future' team. Yeates Ingerson Wight Lovett Neitz Febey Johnson Lovett Stretch Lyon Shwartz Yze Farmer Jackovich Green Stynes Viney Jones Inter; Whelan, Davey, White, j Mcdonald. Imported: Clark, Pickett, White, Bizzel, Vardy, Holland, Ellis, Bryce, Owen, Turley, Mc Donald, Ward, Vince, Tyson, Ingerson, Lovett,Powell, Clarke, Heffernan, Moloney, Lumumba, Dawes, Pederson, Shanahan., Seecamp Exported: Spalding, Jolly, Bassett, Thomson, Hughes, O'Dwyer, Pettard, Miller, Martin, Sylvia, Mclean, Scully, Frawley, Rivers, Fitzpatrick, Toumpas, Bennel, Armsrtong, Walsh, Pyke, Charles,Farmer, Lovell, Simmonds, Moloney, Bruce. Da future: Would include Hogan, Gawn, Hunt, T. McDonald, J. Viney, Salem, Petracca,..... ?

Always knew you were one of us, a friggin genius. I still despise your slant on history. You should stop reading Biggles.

Eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we diet.

As in Eau di Cologne? As in Waters of Babylon? No thanks, I'd rather have an eau di Vie.

You google too much. The Australian Spectator is bad for your mental heath. You already have Kneemonia, Toesolitis and probably Richardtheria and to have to subsequently take antidepressants on top of the Anti-inflamatories ( Anthrax tablets, in my language ) would tipple you way over the edge. Stay moderate, young man. Anyway, Ataturk is yesterday's man.

Some where over the rainbow, weigh a pie...
-
If they weigh a whale at the Whaleweigh Station, where do they weigh a pie?
-
Lovely stuff, Bing181. I appreciate your insights.

Ah, not to mention the privilege of being an Ulster Scoot, that wonderfully rich cultural ancestry of dwelling in bogs and being sustained by the noble Taittie. I envy you, most of all, because of that inimitably poetical cascading Irish brogue.

You sound blessed: being able to swear in 4 languages. Not even my father swore. Or my mother. I was distinctly underprivileged. Ah, what treasure, German/Polish/Jewish neighbours. I had the Morris Family, Doris Morris, who married the two timing Terry Twomey, and Ronald Morris who called me a poofta because I liked Beethoven. Still, I was able to bowl him out mercilessly when we played cricket, mainly because I was fast and because at that time I was the greatest living German cricketer. That was after many years of fruitless overs. And, I admit, he kept encouraging me to bowl faster. He had no fear. Of a tennis ball.
