  1. Lively tough decent by hand and foot . Spargo and Viney will be pressure beasts working in tandem around the footy .
  2. Nice to see some dash and speed and looks the type to win his own ball .
  3. Was hoping crows or power would take a punt on Trenners , will be watching to see how Watts and Trenners go next year. No doubt Wattsy will kill it - Go Trenners . !
  4. Frost tmac are non tradeables in my opinion - Anb Trenners Jkh and Spencer ( for his own benefit) are . Anb and a pick should suit them . ( i wish, although I hope anb stays ) Who knows eh but talk of Lever going to collingwood is a farce why would he want to go to a bottom team .
  5. Trenners and a pick sign on Jakey
  6. Salem or Zac Jones is a tough choice but I reckon Zac could be as good as his big brother in a few years injury free . He has great handball skills is quick tough and a good kick and above all else super competitive. All though Nath has carried a disfunctional team -who knows how resilient people are until they have done it as has our great captain . If Salem can get some continuity he could be anything .
  7. Jeff farmer has bought a house and is living in wantirna in melbourne .
  8. We should have drafted him initially- I wanted him then and now he is chunks Brother ffs
  9. Absolutely but we were into him prior to this last summer .
  10. Strong rumors that we were into Hurley big time and not too far off . enough for Timmy watson to have the irrates with Goodwin and the dees , May maybe Gaz got neeld to the club so I think it requires more thought.
  11. Is Greg venom Denim Malcolm Blight?
  12. Cant find any logic in the hamstring awareness thing and did hear Richardson say it was a power issue in Reference to the hammy but he was seemed to be under the pump and giving a little away . If a bloke from india can fumble his way through surgery here with false credentials for 11 years im as good a chance as any .
  13. i reckon Mccartin missed because of his diabetes last week hamstring awareness pffft . Maybe feeling 90% so played in the reserves . If Im right becomes part of the equation as he may not play as much as trac over his career looks like they wont play him unless feeling 100% so its no excuse when playing.
  14. We need to be bigger than one player . Take the pressure off the kid make a statement by saying we are happy to wait until they are ready to talk . I would also propose a deal that would not be super long term as he doesnt know if he will be back in w.a sometime . Offer a deal that takes him to the free agency window and hopefully he stays after that. Good will and open dialogue and if he goes he goes . If something goes wrong and he wanted to be traded it would be messy as compensation would massive .
  15. played April 2015 -a team half full of Carlton listed players but yeah men against 17 year olds .
  16. he tested last week at full pace with some others that were injured and couldn't compete at the combine. Obviously he went ok . Id suspect we would start at scratch with him assess the injury and have him on a modified program building core strength like they did with hogan.who knows how long it will take but they will be cautious.
  17. On Darcy parish the Lochy witfield comparisons on fox last night had me hoping we would pass.
  18. Playing against men undersized and as Shifter said he will learn to use his body better id say when he has a couple of afl pre-seasons under his belt.SAM Weideman flew for marks, crashed packs, kicked goals and set them up for others. This year's draft pool is not full of 196cm key forwards who can grab the ball, kick it straight and have the smarts to go with it, but Weideman announced himself as one of them on Saturday morning. The 17-year-old, who is the grandson of Collingwood legend Murray Weideman and son of former Magpie Mark, set the tone for the NAB AFL Academy in its gallant nine-point loss to the Northern Blues' VFL team at the MCG. In the first quarter alone, the Eastern Ranges prospect took five marks and kicked two goals. He finished with 11 touches and seven marks as the Academy rebounded from an 82-thumping at the hands of Werribee last week to provide a strong contest. Not sure where Sanderson got 12 contested from as he said last night on air. With more than half of their team Carlton-listed players, the Blues were expected to win. And it was perhaps the maturity and poise of returning Carlton star Andrew Walker (29 disposals) and Dennis Armfield's four goals which proved the difference as the Blues held off the Academy to win 14.15 (99) to 14.6 (90). While Weideman's performance in attack will have him in recruiters' thoughts as a top-10 pick, at the other end of the ground Jacob Weitering's claims for being the best under-18 player in the country continued. NAB AFL ACADEMY 3.2 7.3 9.5 14.6 (90) NORTHERN BLUES 3.2 7.8 9.11 14.15 (99) GOALS: NAB AFL Academy: Schache 3, Ah Chee 2, Hipwood 2, Weideman 2, Keays, Tucker, Cole, Snadden, Curnow Northern Blues: Armfield 4, Buckley 2, Johnson 2, Whiley, Totevski, Viojo-Rainbow, Walsh, Fields, Foster BEST
: NAB AFL Academy: Ah Chee, Weitering, Parish, Weideman, Hopper, Keays, Tucker, Nyuon Northern Blues: Armfield, Walker, Graham, Whiley, Boekhorst, Buckley, Wilson
  19. In the combine footage shown on fox today he looked lean fit and strong . Shot 30 from 30 in the goal kicking and was in the top bracket for the agility test .he is explosive not unlike cripps at the blues . Great get .
  20. He is a teenager growing into a tall frame forget about the stress fracture , Hogan had them in the back , stoked to hear he took 12 contested marks in a half v carltons reserves this year . Could be the best player in the draft .
  21. Toumpas is a bust , even if melksham is suspended for a year he will have more upside , the guy can play and has a couple ahead of him at the bombers . We need some players who can finish and he is one that can hit up lace out. Toumpas has played a good game or 2 this year and I wish him all the best at Port.
  22. The Afl is the inside word prosiding over its tribunial who issue the penalty, in gillins words the players have gone through enough so no suspension required . What a joke .
  23. Pass we should forget about essendrug until they have served their sentence .
