If the role between Melksham and Bugg is to be the linkman who can kick goals and hit targets more conssitently then Melksham is the man for the role. Bugg is not so reliable in that respect but he probably puts more acid on opposition defenders.( a very important quality ). Melksham should hold his spot based on his output last Sunday.

I think Viney is a definite "rest him" Petracca hasnt had the rub of the green so a rest for him is probably not a good idea. Just let him keep working at it and he'll turn it around. For the present, not the future, put Frost back in. If Hipwood plays, we need a quick reasonably skilled tall to go to him. I'm in the put Bugg back in camp. He will be right in the contest and he's the type who could score a goal or two. Perhaps Weed out for Frost

We are a potential 50,00 member club make no mistake. I get the feeling that the ' lapsed member ' category is still largely untapped. We could also increase support amongst the junior ranks not to mention the cat / dog pet membership area.

The issue is not now ,nor has it ever been about totals for or against. That's a furphy. It's about paying frees where they are warranted to us or to the opposition in accordance with the rules of the game. That's what the ordinary supporter wants but almost never gets. Fans are confused, players are perplexed and the umpires are on a hiding to nothing every single week. Umpires are needed, but we can't be forced to " respect " them for what they serve up each week. And frankly, the AFL is primarily at fault because they are preventing an impartial performance by their most important employees. No wonder people are upset. Max was strangely umpired out of the ruck contests. After conceding 3 frees in a row at the centre, he looked unwilling to contest the next tap out. Never seen anything like that before.

It would be a shallow assessment to say No Finals= Failed Season. Disappointing to miss after sustained presence in the 8 but massive positives all through the club. This club is going places and this season will be appreciated for what it is. Patience Grasshopper !!!!!!!!!

I will vote for anybody who wants to ban the wearing of denim jeans in the members reserve, I don't care what AFL team they support. I've had a gut full of seeing bogans and oafs in rubbishy denim jeans coming in to the reserve. Show a bit of pride in your appearance, people. Dress up !!
