Always opportunities. If Jackson leaves he does so with our blessing, wish him luck, and onto the next guy. We do invest, and we expect investment, but next up. No time in this business to look back. We’ll be very well compensated for Jackson, and who knows, we might land the next superstar of the league with our pick. Players do get homesick. It’s part of the game.

Does nothing to send him to Casey. We want to keep him. So we play him. If we can rest Gawn towards the back end we will be well placed come finals. If Jackson can help us do that he is contributing to another premiership run.

My fault

He can’t kick. Let him rack them up

Go back to the VFL Bedford

Great finish there. BBB looking sharp

Noble Isn’t a good coach. I think North are pretty much on the tank anyway, and happy Noble is leading the charge. If they gain a PP, sit on the bottom next year and access more quality picks, I see them moving on Noble mid 2023 and seeking out someone more suited to take a young list places. I hope we seek out their good forwards. Be a good time to.

Freo won’t let players go. Best we can do is pursue any out of contract players in a trade. Brodie would be an under valued proposition that we could gain some value out of if he were steak knives. It would be especially important if we were losing both Jackson and Brayshaw. Brodie could fill in Brayshaws role at a reduced price and allow us extra funds to chase a gun forward at big $$$

Freo won’t give up their players. They have the leverage if Jackson wants to leave. Best we could do would be to seek out Brodie or Acres (both out of contract) as part of a swap plus picks our way. And I’m not sure either even get a gig in our midfield. I hope Jackson stays. I can’t see any workable trade that helps us. We will be bent over. On the upside, if he doesn’t want to be a demon let’s get in someone who does. We don’t actually know if he wants out though. We can only deduce that he doesn’t want in by the fact he hasn’t signed yet.

Sam did good but we miss a ruck. Not just in the contest but around the ground. O’Brien was influential in the air. Weideman needs to find his own niche - what he excels in, and really hone in on it. It’s it’s tackling pressure then so be it try lay 10 plus tackles. Each tackle creates a potential spillage for our mids to mop up. Good effort by us. Up against it and came through with a win. Those games up there are always like this for us.

Good effort going up against the big man. All we ask for is Sam competes and tonight he did that. It’s not an easy role. We have no one else to do it. He performed to an acceptable level. It’s all we can ask.

That would be good

Hope so.

Yeah umps have crucified them. Usually the bullies get the rub of the green.

I picked up on that. Really liked it. Goodwins approach to this is really smart.
-
Stewart won’t play against us. That’s a plus.

Nah was on the fav, which got too far out of its ground. Ran home for a nice 4th, which just rubs it in further as I had a betback applied.

DeGoey is finished. Bloke did nothing wrong and now spends his days pandering to a rabid media contingent. These blokes need to get back to putting their head down and training for what they’re paid for - playing football. Just ignore the media, they are parasites. A simple “no comment” is always the perfect response.

Impressive by Fagan. Clearly disappointed in his team tonight. Real professional.

I actually think Jackson as a ruck doubles down on our pressure game.
-
Suits our game play. If he doesn’t sign on I could see him not liking his decision.

This is just regulation for Harmes. Most underrated player in the game, and lowered a prime Dangers colors as a tagger. Good to see him on Neale. Lyon getting bruised helps us. Bailey not playing now helps more. Zorko not playing screws their structure. Lever is BOG. Really impressive. Viney stepping up, best quarter from him I’ve seen. Jackson is our type of ruck. He plays our type of game style - grinds. He’s been great. Sticks tackles and does a lot off the ball. Harmes obviously huge. Ben Brown looking best I’ve seen him this year really great touch. Sparrow is a problem for Brissy. They had no answer for him early. They blanketed Oliver, and Petracca was trying, but Sparrow was being effective.

I’m actually surprised how bad Brissy are. We are just mentally cooked. If Oliver and Petracca ever want to own a game it’s this
