Why did me and the wife bother purchasing a membership paying for a game that we did not attend. Your logic makes much more sense. If we have 17,000 members and 19,000 turn up then we have over achieved! We get screwed with scheduling and therefore we get compensation from the AFL for this. It’s a fact of life that mothers day is more important than football to a lot of people. I had a breakfast a lunch and a dinner to attend. I didn’t even bother watching the game on TV. I believe Melbourne are required to fly the parents in when interstate players debut. So they most likely had to organise flights for them and being the easter weekend, probably had to make sure they were available.

Don't worry theres plenty of places to get a good couch out there. Theres Freedom Furniture, OZ Design, Gainsville.... But no doubt we will end up with one from Fantastic Furniture. Cheap and looks ok, but will be out of date and broken after a year. Sorry couldn't resist.

Couldn't agree more. I cant stand it when they talk of Premiership players like they are all elite. Players like Neitz are 100 times better players than any of those.

Players like Neaves and Bode are 2nd year rookies, so they will have to be upgraded or delisted at years end. So its not that silly a question to be asking. Bode will most likely be delisted, but it will be interesting to see what happens with Neaves.

He used to be one of your favourites because he was hard, put his head over the ball and was a good creative runner out of the back line. At his peak opposition coaches would play a defensive forward on him to try and stop his run. Now he is older and not as quick as he used to be, but after all his years service to the club all you can do is sink the boot in and show your true clours. he has taken a lot more knocks for the club than you ever will.

Because both of them were playing on 1 leg each. Even when they are unfit and struggling they are still the best 2 options we have down forward. If Neitz heart wasnt as big as Pharlap's he wouldn't have even played.

I think its the best depature from a coaching job that I can remember. Shows he was a high quality person.

Yes I was at the game and I agree he can't kick to save himself at the moment. My point is he still got the ball more than others and there is a lot more upside with him. Fact is if his bad game includes all the above, then wait till a good one comes.

Exactly how I saw it BBP. The only one I would take issue with is the Bell comment. He wasn't on the ground as much in the second half and his tackling is absolutely ferocious. Some times a little too ferocious and will cost him free kicks. Best parts of the game was Davey's tackle on Patheticer in the last quarter and CJ's game. Pencil him down for your dream teams now. Last but not least the BIZ is BIT (Back In Town).
