Barrett needs to stick reporting about AFL and club admins, contracts and Essendon drug scandal. Leave the reporting of on field, match play, footy and players to guys who know what they are talking about. The bloke knows nothing about how to footy is and should be played.

Hasn't been able to get a game because where would he fit in amongst Franklin, Tippet, Goodes and Reid, that and tall forwards take longer to develop. I think if he had an opportunity at a club screaming for forwards he might do well. Definitely wouldn't pay more then what he is was drafted at but would have to worth having a look at. I think there will be more then a few clubs interested in him come trade week

Tim Membrey from Sydney would be worth a look. 188cm 90kg plays as a medium/key forward and is kicking goals in the swans 2s. Not likely to get a run in swans forward line in the next few years due to their over priced forward line that they have to play to justify what they spent. A Gippsland boy that the could easily be enticed to come home for more opportunity recent form doesn't deserve to be playing 2's footy. I think he went pick 47 a couple of years ago. Could trade for a similar pick and get a player with 2 years development at the swans.

I'm worried the MRP and the AFL have refered it to make a statement. The death of the bump and Viney will be the example to discourage anyone else from doing it. The AFL want the bump gone and this might be the ammo they need.
