I think even chasing a low total the Vics would have still played safe. Winning the shield was a bigger prize then winning the match. Other then really forcing the wickets there wasn't a lot WA could really do.

Should be a good finish to the Shield final tomorrow, for anyone following along.. WA definitely on top in the match, currently 280 ahead at stumps on day 3 but the Vics only have to bat out the day to take it out. A big chase and a win would be nice but I think playing it safe on a pitch that hasn't shown a lot will be the way to go. Here's hoping Matty Wade is holding up the Shield tomorrow night

Not sure too many vfl would be terribly thrilled to have players who miss targets for 5 years. I think the phrase "VFL standard" is thrown around too much as an insult me to under performing players when the vfl is is a high standard of footy in its own right. Maybe just describe them as not afl standard or just Sh!t rather then bringing down the VFL level

The wife and entire family of in laws are mad Essendon, mother in law completely in denial about the whole cheating drugs thing and still thinks Golden boy is completely innocent of all wrong doing. How about rather then complaining about these "missed opportunities", why don't you come up with a detailed planned idea of what you would like to done, write up an a business plan and profit forecast, draw up a budget and schedule and submit it to the club because cleary you must be better at event management and marketing then anyone working there. Or is ragging on the clubs family day or complaining about a training run just easier

We get something called game day There's about 11 home ones and a few local away games each year. There will also be food, drinks, membership tent, merchandise for sale and around 3 hours of "entertainment" Anything else needed or is this another missed opportunity?
