Just watched a replay of the Hawks game - Melksham is stiff to miss, whilst he didn’t star he definitely contributed. Likewise Dunstan. Bedford showed plenty and Smith was solid before injury. I feel for them all because none of them deserves to be dropped.

A lot can happen in 2 - 3 years at his age. Life and priorities can change massively in that time frame.

I can’t see Laurie being played ahead of Bedford.

The Pert appointment was viewed without a lot of enthusiasm at the time but I feel he has now well and truly proved himself. He has done a great job so far.

The odds of winning with 5 forced changed is very low so it was a good win indeed. Hawthorn are no easy beats. 7 straight wins on the back of a premiership year is a great result. At no stage did I think we would lose.
