Just had the displeasure of listening to Brendan Goddard on the ABC. He is now a commentator for them - inarticulate, rambling, full of empty words - should fit in well.

I thought he was a chance for round 1. His JLT form was quite reasonable. While he is not in the best 22 he is a good depth player and deserves his place on the list. I hope he comes back strong.

Also listened to Christian Salem on SEN and it was a pretty vanilla interview but he did single out Fritsch as having a great preseason- if he goes to another level it will be fantastic for our season. Also there were great raps on KK - can’t wait for him to get on the park.

Westhoff is the matchup that worries me. He is a gun - highly mobile, good in the air and dangerous around the goals. If we can neutralise him it will go a long way towards winning the game.

Max doesnt agree with you - he is on record as saying he wants the ball in his hands as much as possible. A different role to Gus and Oliver but equally important.

Lives in the shadow of Max, Clarrie and Gus but no less important. Happy days.
