  3. Spoil sport. Without misery I am nothing.
  4. Really pleased for him. He has earned this chance. A great example of being rewarded for persistence and not letting your head drop. Hope he has a great game and many more.
  5. I think Bitters might stiffen the backline.
  6. Must admit it’s up there.
  7. just when you think things cant get any worse - they do.
  8. thats me on a good day.
  9. Expecting nothing and will probably get even less
  10. He and Heppell have the worst "Do's" in the comp.
  11. Maybe I could trade my Morris minor for a Jag.
  12. Yep, its not a curse but incompetence.
  13. It seems everybody new that May was overweight and unfit prior to his recruitment other than our football department. Just read Demonland at the time. This has been a high order stuff up.

  18. I think all the players I mentioned would easily get a game in our current side.
  19. I think the problem is our player development- too many have not come on.
  20. Yes, we’ve got such a great history of trading. Let him join the likes of Howe, Dunn, Hogan, Kent, Watts etc. No problem.
  21. I can see what you’re saying but 2 goals after quarter time and the way we just handed over the ball to their backline is hard to gloss over. I guess I’m a glass half empty type of guy.
  22. I guess my point is that this is not just an off day, it points to structural and systemic problems and nothing I have heard gives me confidence that the Club understands this. I am not against Goodwin but I think he needs much more experienced people people around him than are there currently. Rooke and Chaplin, in particular, are very inexperienced and McCartney is a decisive character. I wish I had your measured and rational nature but there it is.
