So assuming away fans generally pay for tickets, with a half decent crowd for this game, would we have made any money on the match? If the crowd was mainly Melbourne members all we'd get is the food and bev turnover (???), and I've been told at some point the beer ran out.

Yep, he seems to be very reliable at VFL level, and gets amongst the goals when he goes forward. I would've thought he'd be handy depth with that GCS experience. Not necessarily for us as we have a fair bit in that role.

Good question. I recall thinking at the time, there's only 1 thing Lecras could've said to fire Nev up like that, so hoping he didn't go down that path. Given it's the West Coast Eagles, we know they play by different rules, so it could've been literally anything.

For mine this was the one thing that Roosy got wrong in his time, and it was very wrong. Suggesting there was a 'veil of negativity' over the club's supporters. One only need look at the clubs last 50 years, and I'm pretty sure you'd find a 'veil of failure'. I think that was a massive lack of respect to the clubs heart and soul, and is probably the reason why we missed finals last year and are on shaky ground again this season. Show us and the jumper some respect and get it done.
