  1. Me too. I'm more excited by Hibberd than Milkshake but I think milkshake has more to offer positionally ie wing and midfield. Hibberd, you would expect, will play HB
  2. Can't go past a QB win either...
  3. I've got one to add... The last time we beat the wooden spooners... Not since Roos has been at the club. Saints 2014, Blues 2015, Essendon 2016
  4. Would probably have cost us 550k to get him across. Might be 725k in the first year?
  5. I think this draft is good depth wise, so you're right, it would be nice to be in the 2nd round. And next year's high end picks are supposed to be very good, so keeping a 1st rounder would be nice. We'll see what we have to give up, but hopefully we don't let them screw us over
  6. Trading next year's 2nd rounder would solve this problem. Still in the 2nd rd this year and the 1st next year

And the Coleman, and the brownlow. And Maxy gets the Norm Smith

Spencer just signed a new contract. You won't get anything for Dawes, and H would retire, not get traded
  9. I agree. He seems to tackle quite well for his size. Can't wait to see what he can do in 2-3 years
  10. He wasn't injured punching Ebert, you muppet. Was injured in the first qtr. Getting suspended was stupid but maybe get all the facts before teeing off
  11. The most important thing Glenn and the board can do is back PJ, Roos and Goodwin. Their support allows these three to do the really important stuff
  12. Plus the 8 day break makes it an ideal time to do this
  13. I'm certainly feeling more confident he will stay, at least for the short term (3-5 year). It gives us time to prove we are a finals threat, or freo time to prove they are rebuilding properly.

For the first time in a while we can honestly say... May not be available when we have our first pick.
  15. This is a pretty good list, IMO. The three that stand out to me on the 'not safe' list are Howe, Watts and Grimes. These are the players we expect more from. Grimes has only just made his way back into the team, and Watts and Howe have been underperforming. I've been a huge fan of Watts, but am starting to wonder if he needs a fresh start. The other thing to remember is that Roos sees these players during the week, at training, in meetings, and not just on game day. Its always difficult for us to make a proper assessment of how 'scarred' they are, or what their attitudes are like, simply off game day (although i will admit that this is the most important factor to measure them by). This is what I always remind myself of when people question the selection (or non-selection) of certain players.

Nice to see the sens on the winners list again. But clearly off the pace at this stage. Long season to go but they better get moving. Karlsson continues to get it done. Man crush confirmed

Nice win by your boys, GTG. Sens just ran out of legs I think. Bit worrying for both sides, conceding 4 goals each

How are the leafs looking this year? Hopefully they can clash in the playoffs this year, as long as the Sens can keep Karlsson et al on the ice most of the season, and the young guys step up again.

Was in Canada from the 29th of November til the 16th of January... Had to go and watch the '67's to get my hockey fix... Although, was having randoms come up and congratulate me when in Florida while wearing my sens jersey after the end to the lockout was announced.
