GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Port Adelaide
Reluctantly I have to agree. I've resisted accepting the calls for Goodies head. But if he doesn't make changes and can't get the charges up in the 2nd half, I'll need to rethink my support. Jones is in the limelight of his career (a great career) but his time is nigh.

So his total career haul is one goal?

Aaron vandenBerg to miss 2 weeks [CONFIRMED]
Totally with you on this one. Good teams hoping to be great need an enforcer, especially if they have young potentials. I loved Ray the Biff, but Rodney Grinter was hard-done-by. I'm not condoning it, but Rod's round-arm push on Wallace did result in a seriously sore arm and the painful removal or several teeth/ unidentified piece bone from his fist. Apparently biting wasn't a problem then those days. We need to keep Vanders in the team . Not for brutal stuff but for the opposition to be watching over the shoulders for tough hard tackler. No more bruise free stuff.

Shane Tuck passes away
Really sad to hear this. He made an attempt to get re-drafted and at the time I was hoping we would give him a shot. I iii,, don't have any words that can ease

What has happened to Clayton Oliver?
Really good analysis of Clarry. To get confidence in his left foot he could look for the short option rather than a bomb-it-long (like my style) and create a turn over. Lowering the ball drop is not easy unless you lower the eyes and look for a shorter option. Difficult under pressure I realise! Longer handballs is a great suggestion. Power out of the congestion, really good advice. Clearly you've played the game & most probably coached.

Craig Jennings Analysis of Dees Game Plan
I studied TAA with Craig a few years back when he was at Essendope doing OP analysis & strategy. It was the first I'd heard of it in footy clubs but I guess every team does it. I was wrapt when he came to the Dees & disappointed when cut. He's obviously a deep thinker and great student of the game.

Sidebottom and Dunn investigated for Multiple Covid Breaches
Yeh that de Gooy. May be Eddie needs to get his old boots dubbined. My old stops had the triple nails/brads. Of course that elitist from Broadie probably has those new fangled screw-in stops.

Intra-Club Game: Round 3
I heard it was to be 18 vs 17 to make sure we get a win

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Can't harley wait (excuse the pun) for his imminent selection announcement. HB has put a big effort in getting himself to this point. And I'm enormously proud of the Dees fitness gurus, coaches & players for getting him to this point.. Someone earlier mentioned it would make the basis of a film rivaling Rocky. First a granny then we'll talk series Very excited and hopefully it works out.

TRAINING PHOTOS: Wednesday 22nd January 2020
Well done to Liam for his excellent action pics. It's inspiring to see such quality work from the younger brigade. I hope I can get to Goschs on Monday.

TRAINING: Monday 20th January 2020
Thanks six6six, They are the best action pics I have seen. I was planning the trip west but may not need to now. I'd prefer to see your action shots. Well done and worthy of a walkley for photojournalism. Trac is definitely a monster & has definetly lost the junior fat. I hope Langdon's dental insurance covers tongue laceration.

2019 Player Reviews: #46 Austin Bradtke
Thanks WJ for sharing this. They're a terrific sporting family and with this great support I hold great hope for Austin. Great to hear he's loving his development time at Melb and the support from Max & the mids. And I'll be keeping an eye open for Aussie's bro Jensen (15 yo & 6ft 7in)

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - MITCH BROWN
Potentially a great Money ball get. An experienced player like Mitch was sorely missed last year. If he has a minor role next season it means we have Weids & Tmac firing. And therefore we should be finals bound.
