I still can't believe that people are so downbeat on Toumpas. Said it plenty, but I reckon he's showed some great decision making and skills in several games. His game against Richmond this year was class as well as picking up about 10 possessions in a single quarter. Give the lad some time for Petes sake.

I honestly don't see how we are getting screwed. Clark has played barely any footy for us, his foot/hamstring/emotional well being is stuffed. Geelong are taking a massive risk, we're getting a durable player who fills a specific need. Think we're doing well out of it. Besides, we had nothing just a few months ago.

Given this has now turned in to a GNF discussion thread, I thought I might weigh in. If you don't want to believe what is said on here, then don't. I don't, but it still makes me think about possible scenarios. Where is the harm in the posts being made? Seriously, I don't know why people are so up in arms about it. Ron I just don't know if loyalty is, or rather should be, a material consideration. We need to be heartless; carrying a sub-par player on the basis of the fact they 'stuck with us in the tough times' is a sure fire way to build a club of legend blokes and mediocre footy players.
