IMO it was to leave a senior list position open so we could take a 3rd player in the ND.

Maybe he could add some well placed whiskers to his chin and we could start calling him the colonel? I'm sure that would change a few minds.

The key is what we're gonna yell out during a game RR . "Big Mitch!" comes to mind and "Sellerrrrs!" . Perhaps something other than "Couchy" for Tom - maybe "TC" with the Geelong "Cats" connection .

It has been blindingly obvious that our midfield is our weak link. Posters here have rated our midfield (probably more its potential) but the reality is when we have the highest i50s against us that is the midfield not working hard enough. Neeld's new fitness regime is almost living proof of that. Couple that with: Beamer essentially being a flat track bully Gysberts inability to damage with his posessions Sylvia's inability to play consistent hard damaging footy. Jones not really damaging oppositions with his possessions We need some grunt and players who can win the footy and dispose of it properly. All day. We have recruited that this year. Let's hope some of them make it.

Our list needed a total renovation after 2007. Players of all types. We now have a far more balanced list. I think the recruiting since Bailey took over has been great. Gysberts still worries me a bit. $cully was a mistake, but overall Neeld was given a great list to which he has added what he believes is needed. Now the work really begins.

I'm all for facial hair as a rule. I'm all for micro-mini skirts too, just not on fat girls. Some people need to stay well away from stuff.

The real culprit is Andrew Demetriou, who sets the ridiculously pro-gambling tone of the sporting organization he fronts.

Who cares. Horse racing is built around insider info. All this does is hurt bookmakers, since when do we care about them? His actions had no influence on the outcome of the game, only on the bookmakers accounts. Are the AFL ever going to reprimand bookmakers when they find out inside information and change their markets accordingly without informing punters. I doubt it.
