gave the club a plug for membership... all the players are in the primus call centre calling members yet to have signed up from last season...

they interviewed the boys, nath was very nervous... sam was giving a bit about being nervous, got him up to read sam's mailbag...

quite funny to be honest...

yer i had a chuckle ...

even when bruce said even the players might go have a kick after the game if they get up an win

He and Bruce came on to promote the game and club, and that the players were in the call centre calling members who have failed to sign up...

They drilled Nathan for being nervous, but I reckon he handled himself better than Robbo, Cam and Green all put together. Laughed off the bald jokes, read Sam's mailbag well...

I get up in front of people and make a fool of myself for a living, and when I was 19 I wold have struggled to look as comfortable as he did.

Don't know if it was worth a new thread [it's not, I merged it :P ], but whenever they say a demon is coming on the show, or on the panel, I cringe... Even when it's Neita. But I was very at ease watching the mini-chief go about it...

Oh. And Bruce said the form turn around is in the players' hands, and that that's a good thing...

thank god jones can play football

He handled himself well.

Just can't [censored] as well as veterans like Bruce who have all the excuses on auto-pilot.

Might ring and buy my cousin a kids membership and have a bit of a chat to Brock ;)

I just spoke to Ricky pettard via the membership primus call centre, was good to speak to a player and he gave some good info, saying he'll hopefully be back in a month fit and ready to get in some form.

CALL UP AND SIGN UP!!!

GO DEES!

Apparently we got 500 memberships last night. I reckon that is a pretty good effort

Where did you hear that?

Good on everyone who signed up last night but why did it take a player calling you up to buy a membership?

are you serious Harcourt? Have you seen the dramas that has happened this past 18 months? Some member or non members arent as passionate as others, hence why they havent bought a membership yet. And being shown this pittful game that we watch the first 5 rounds I can understand why they havent wanted to purchase a membership, sometimes it takes a little push, and having a player call you up its pretty hard to say no

You are correct and it is the reason why our club is stuffed and won't be around in 10 years time. Enjoy it while you can.

Don't regret missing it, even though Jones and Bruce were on. Love the footy show and newman, but Lost >>>>> The Footy Show.

Lost is on at 10:30 next week (probably because of low ratings) so I can fit in an hour of the show.

Yeah pretty much.

Certainly won't be pursuing a career in the media after he's finished.

Are you guys serious? I reckon that would have been one of the first media things he's ever done. Taking that into account plus his age, I think he did very well especially given how much of a tool Sam was being, trying to embarass him.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. The tough on baller won his second Keith 'Bluey' Truscott Trophy in a narrow battle with skipper Max Gawn and Alex Neal-Bullen and battled on manfully in the face of a number of injury niggles. TRAINING: Wednesday 13th November 2024

A couple of Demonland Trackwatchers braved the rain and headed down to Gosch's paddock to bring you their observations from the second day of Preseason training for the 1st to 4th Year players. DITCHA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I attended some of the training today. Richo spoke to me and said not to believe what is in the media, as we will good this year. Jefferson and Kentfield looked big and strong.  Petty was doing all the training. Adams looked like he was in rehab.  KE

Veteran Demonland Trackwatchers Kev Martin, Slartibartfast & Demon Wheels were on hand at Gosch's Paddock to kick off the official first training session for the 1st to 4th year players with a few elder statesmen in attendance as well. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Beautiful morning. Joy all round, they look like they want to be there.  21 in the squad. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
