I was flicking channels tonight and came across the new series of Big Brothel.

Did anyone else see that former MFC superdud Brent Grgic is in the house?

Anyone have a pic?

No, wrong one.

I think he is going by the name 'Ben' in the house.

dude that guy's like 16 isn't he

yes yes

you were just "flicking through the channels"

and just happened to come across big brother

and 'Ben' just happened to be on that channel at that exact time you 'flicked' it on

you don't watch it noooo...

Every freak in the country is either on the show or watching it. :o

Have not watched it, and will not watch it.

I can however make these predicitons for this "ben" fellow if he is anything like brent grgic.

1. Won't get anywhere near any action if there is any (will be seen spectating close by)

2. If there is a heated arguemnt that turns ugly, he will be nowhere to be seen.

3. If other housemates do the hardwork, he will have no problems putting on the minimal final touches, and thus taking credit for it.

4. Will be voted off, but given another chance, only to be voted off a second time due to his pea heart and lack of commitment.

That Nobbi guy is in all my classes at uni, we're doing the same course.

Wrong.

Ben is a friend of a friend. Not the dud that played football for us.

Haha.. Emo?

Far from it, my friend!

Cheers Emo.

Mate,

Who the F$#^K do you think you are calling someone emo because their display picture is of a band that are dressed in dark colours ?

Absolute [censored] jockey mate. Grow up.

I think they were being sarcastic mate. I don't think anyone actually thought Brent Grgic was in the house.

What state are you from cos it looked like he was wearing a Mentone Grammar uniform in a couple of his pictures.

Absolute knob jockey mate. Grow up.

Talk about flying off the handle. Relax!

The person it was directed at didn't take offence, why should you?

(Anyone else find it ironic that he prefixed his post with "mate"?)

Non-issue.

And for the record, AFI have been around for 17 years and pre-dated this horrible new wave of emo bands.

This thread is more entertaining than big brother house!!

Yze Magic to be an intruder??

And all emo poppy bands suck arse...

Non-issue.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
