I went a bit overboard

I will renew.

The club needs me in its 150th year, to promote the red and Blue as I always have and to carry our supporter base on my broad shoulders. Nobody has stepped up to the plate that can replace me.

In many ways, me and David Neitz are similair. We are the heart and soul of the club, and nobody is ready to step in and fill the void.

So in this 150th year of the Melbourne Football CLub, it is an absolute must that Yze_Magic and David Neitz lead from the front like we always have.

I was goping to suggest that if you take off a year or whatever from supporting the Dees, you could go and barrack against Collingwood every week. Glad you're staying - we need you.

I haven't bought a membership yet, and its crap like this latest Sylvia episode that might prevent me from buying one for the first time in 15 years

Why whould I continue to contribute to the paypackets of wankers like Sylvia, Mclean, Carroll etc et.. when they wont do the right thing by me, you or the club?

I love having a drink and partying and getting [censored] as much as the next bloke. But I am not an AFL footballer who has 30,000 paid members watching my every move and hoping for a return on their investment, year after year

I've had enough, and let me tell you, if Yze_Magic jumps ship, the MFC will fold quicker than you can say 'AFL footballers are a joke'

the 'great' yze_magic, who annointed you great? just buy a frickin' membership and shut-up for a while

Classic YM and you all fell for it hahaha.

Why don't you buy your membership, but tell the club you don't want your all important membership dollar going to the salary of either Sylvia, McLean or Carroll.

Specify that you want your money to go to Neitz, or Jones, or someone like that.

I'm sure the club will take that on board and act accordingly.

30,000 paid members watching their every move ???

I thought we were talking about Melbourne players. ;) [just joking folks]

Ahh, those were the days.

I thought he might have been RickJames who is now Karl Pilkington.

If not, i wonder why RJ / KP doesnt post here

No, RickJames was a different poster, RJ is a racist little scum who will do very well to avoid meeting me in real life.

YM on the other hand it the type of poster who makes visting forums more amusing, you just have to stroke their ego's occasionally to make them feel better about themselves.

He made a racist comment about my Malaysian wife.

Do you know him? If you do I'd love to have his contact details

I'd agree with YM if Sylvia wasn't reprimanded. I am sick to death of these [censored] footballers too but it doesn't stop me from loving the club.

The fact that the playing group has been pro-active and reprimanded players where they've been out of line in such a quick manner is a breath of fresh air.

Before a team can win they must have respect for the jumper and each other, the playing groups stance on these issues is a positive step towards that.

Hang in their YM

Nope, thats definitely not me

But I did come back for a while under the name neutral_observer , until my cover was blown

If you do a search on BigFooty under that nickname, you will see that good old Neutral definitely made his mark
