How many games will you attend next year?

My son and I will get it 19 of 22 which isn't a bad effort. Only miss the game against Adelaide, Fremantle and the Kangaroos. Thank God for cheap airfares with Tiger!!

i think i got 4 booked in not including finals!! (one being queens birthday)

This may not sound like much but being interstate and having a dad who works constantly makes it difficult to attend games

Not sure yet, but prefer night games they suit me much better, so it may be down on what I saw this year.

That is plenty of games for an out-of-stater

Thats commitment

I'm looking at maybe 10 or so. I'm gonna miss the start of the season unfortunately... No work in Australia in my field so I have to do without my staple diet...

Every game in Melbourne most likely

Every game that takes place in Victoria... just got to find enough original excuses to get out of work to go to Saturday matches.

No interstate games for me due to serious lack of money.

As many Victorian games as possible. Doing shiftwork though can make it a little harder to get to games.

As many Vic games as possible... Depending on what umpiring games I'm scheduled for...

Night games are much better and the AFL has provided us with bugger all.

Geelong V Melbourne (NAB Cup)

Hawthorn V Melbourne

Melbourne V Bulldogs

Geelong V Melbourne

Melbourne V Fremantle

Then off to USA for a couple of years. Might come back for the GF when we participate

Normally go to every Vic game plus 1 interstate.

1 or 2

As many as possible - Will aim for:

- All pre-season games in Vic

- All Home and Away Games in Vic

- All 3 of our home finals in Vic.

All games in Victoria - home or away. Hopefully 2 interstate trips. Devastated that my annual girls weekend to Sydney won't be happening in '08

  • POSTGAME: West Coast

Following a disastrous 0–5 start to the season, the Demons have now made it three wins in a row, cruising past a lacklustre West Coast side on their own turf. Skipper Max Gawn was once again at his dominant best, delivering another ruck masterclass to lead the way.

  • GAMEDAY: West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have a chance to notch up their third consecutive win — something they haven’t done since Round 5, 2024. But to do it, they’ll need to exorcise the Demons of last year’s disastrous trip out West. Can the Dees continue their momentum, right the wrongs of that fateful clash, and take another step up the ladder on the road to redemption?

  • FEATURE: 1925

A hundred years ago today, on 2 May 1925, Melbourne kicked off the new season with a 47 point victory over St Kilda to take top place on the VFL ladder after the opening round of the new season.  Top place was a relatively unknown position for the team then known as the “Fuchsias.” They had finished last in 1923 and rose by only one place in the following year although the final home and away round heralded a promise of things to come when they surprised the eventual premiers Essendon. That victory set the stage for more improvement and it came rapidly. In this series, I will tell the story of how the 1925 season unfolded for the Melbourne Football Club and how it made the VFL finals for the first time in a decade on the way to the ultimate triumph a year later.
