haha yeah - watching the game on 10 on mute and listening to MMM (the only way to watch footy) - Garry is stoked :P :D

break that gf record!!!

Not wishing to steal your thunder, but I posed such a scenario at 4.04 in the Grand Final Tips thread.

Well...

We will no longer have the biggest GF loss to our name...

Small consolation.

Good on Geelong, but to be honest, the only thing I can think about right now is that I will never experience this sort of thing with Melbourne.

I hope I'm wrong!

Congratulations to Geelong and it's great to get the cup back to Victoria.

Comrades - this was a great record to get rid of. Thank god for small mercies.

Biffinator.

Here's an interesting fact Jaded. Whenever Geelong have won the Flag, Melbourne have won one within the next 2 years.

There is hope we may live to see one

One of the greatest days in MFC history, we no longer have that record we do not want.

There's some truth in this, apart from 1931 (Melbourne 1939 Premiers) and 1951 (Melbourne 1955 Premiers). No cigar I'm afraid.
