deanox 10,071 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 so we we need 6 injuries this week to have 21 available for next week...robbo neitz and wheatly can be put out to pasture...is there anyone else in that boat?
Bring-Back-Powell 15,577 Posted August 23, 2007 Author Posted August 23, 2007 Why does everyone want or think Neitz should be rested? He played his best game for the season last week and looked as fit as he's been all year. Robbo on the other hand is really struggling.
Demons 32 235 Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Awesome to see Buckley in. Im pumped as about CJ, never been a big fan but was playing AFL on Sony last night and he ripped it up for me all season off the bench. Strange way to start liking a player but get him in there!!!
Pates 9,697 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Why does everyone want or think Neitz should be rested? He played his best game for the season last week and looked as fit as he's been all year. Robbo on the other hand is really struggling. Neitz seemed to be struggling to kick the ball properly the whole night, reflected by his 3.3 and one not making the distance, he also looked proppy in the way he was running. Mind you it wasn't as bad as Bate and Robbo, i can't believe that Robbo will make it into the final 22 considering how much pain he was in when he injured his knee. I cannot believe the injury run we're having, and can't believe that Bizzle can still miss out. It really doesn't look good for him. I'd like to see Sylvia given a run in the midfield, and maybe play Ward or Brown as our crummer in the forward line. One thing that the hight of our forwards has given us is an almost garauntee that a contest will be made so me need people at ground level. Honestly though, i'm glad i've got to work during the match, i hope these guys can just continue the guts and determination we had in the second half. If they have a dip, i'll be happy.
AzzKikA 2,371 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I agree Pates, put Sylvia in the midfield, it's his favoured position and other teams havn't seen much of him there so he could be a surpise weapon.
TonyMelb 7 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 What's wrong with Junior? And how is Robbo not on that injury list??? Big thumbs up for CJ, PJ and Buckley. Totally agree there is no logic at all for Robbo to play for rest of 2007. Clearly his knee is not right & extra time to get right for 2008 much more valuable! Junior apparently did shoulder at training! So end of season for him. As wheats is out should go off and get his shoulder op now. Missing R22 against the Blues can not matter at all! Bate clearly was not right against the Pies and bege the question why was in the side! did not see him get injured during the game and started in the FF line. May as well give Bizz etc the run.
Little Goffy 14,983 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Three rucks in the same team, this should be interesting. maybe PJ will play back? Maybe White will be a late withdrawal, bring us to the BIG ZERO players to play every game. As a point of reference, Sydney (who are allegedly having a worse than usual year with injuries) have 14. My guess in reality is that Robbo isn't really expected to play. Or Neitz, he's hurt still isn't he? Bleah.
AzzKikA 2,371 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Don't forget, this isnt the largest injury list we have had all year
sylvinator 96 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Don't forget, this isnt the largest injury list we have had all year who would win...sandy or MFC considering this weeks teams and taking form into consideration?
Kit Walker 225 Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 who would win...sandy or MFC considering this weeks teams and taking form into consideration? MFC by 10 goals. No contest Sandringham are an excellent VFL side but its a quantum leap upwards
