2025 Player Reviews: #21 Matthew Jefferson

I agree with a lot on the thread, especially gym work. Stand Roo and Jeffo next to Gallup Logan and other teams forwards Dear excluded and they are all well muscled and look more solid than ours. A bit of bulk and strength would help. I also know that there are many different body types and all are needed, but most importantly they need to ne matched up on appropriate opponents every week. I hope the coach can use the players better this year.

Pretty underwhelming game by Jeffo yesterday. Showed very little. JVR, Fritter, Mihocech, Kentfield & even Heath contributed up forward.

I'm a Jeffo believer but Kentfield showed much more yesterday.

It is a practice game after all..

The week prior had it not been for inaccurate kicking for goal he could have easily had 4-5 goals by half time.

With Mihocek out next week i think he will get more looks this time around.

If he does put in another poor performance then maybe he missed out round 1?

Big difference playing against your teammates than genuine opposition though isn’t there.

North's defence aren't genuine opposition.

We had a total of 34 scoring shots against their defence.

But yes, I get what you mean.
